morganfell... Devil's Third is still coming, dear uninformed troll. Stop spouting out lies.
SkolarVisari... ONLY TWO WEAPONS WERE USED? You were playing on Ninja Dog, dude? The Kusarigama was the only weapon that you could skip. The nunchuks were for close-quarters against enemies with heavy defense and enemies that grabbed you, the claws for aerial combos with Izuna finishes (basically when you needed to take care of business fast), the sword for basic ground ninjas, th...
And made enemies 10 times more aggressive like in previous games - in NG2, an enemy with no arm would still be violently determined to kill you. Enemies with no legs would suicide-bomb themselves to kill you. In this game? Enemies with all their limbs intact crawl away begging for their lives like sissies.
Also, Itagaki left because the president of Tecmo was replaced with a baffoon that didn't want to pay the bonuses the company owed to Team Ninja AND he said Itagakli sh...
It's doing badly in Japan, too.
You're not only an apologist, but a very casual apologist. Nobody that likes playing real action games would defend Ninja Gaiden 3.
There's a reason the metacritic is 59 out of 100 for this garbage - the game was made for 5-year-olds that can't play real games.
They're 100% right.
Doesn't mean changing the main character so drasticly and his (already known) past is a good idea, though. Not to mention making a 60fps ACTION GAME into a 30fps "action game".
MASSIVE LOL at judging how scary something is by watching a cropped youtube video, with no context, no playing for hours and getting more and more into the storyline, characters, themes and message.
You're an example of current gamers. Bet you love COD and Uncharted too.
Kojima's games have the subtetly of a sledgehammer. The writing in the MGS series is always the most convoluted, over-written, nonsensical of all gaming. The storytelling is always all over the place, without rhyme or reason.
He can't tackle delicate issues - it'll be offensive and nonsensical at best.
Yeah, it'll be out... by then the WiiU and XBox 720 will be out already.
Another 3/10. LOL.
Here's a post from ViewtifulJC from NeoGAF. The combo issues alone put this right there with Enslaved for worst combat this gen:
"-Aiming with the arrows are a real gag reel too now. There's no thought neccesery, you just jump in the air, press L2 to aim(you can even hold it for slow-mo, for whatever reason), press R2 to fire, and soon as you land, dodge-jump and do it again. The game automatically aims at enemies for you when ...

"Let's make the most hardcore action series of all time into something incredibly flat, easy to play and less complex than even God of War! That makes total sense! It's not like there are a dozen super-easy, braindead action series already!"
The core gameplay ISN'T intact. Random QTEs in the middle of your combo, auto-aiming to enemies closer to death (so Ryu will change direction without your input if a weaker enemy walks on-screen), hit detection is a...
Why is Sigma 2 on the list? Both Sigma's are easier than the previous versions.
And you need to stop whining, casual gamer.
Who is the smart shopper, pray tell? The guy that has no idea what he's talking about and doesn't realize it's cheaper to buy from Live, or the people that know two things:
a) They're not 8 bucks.
b) Live point cards are sold at MASSIVE discounts everywhere ($30-35 for $50 cards), so you don't even have to pay the actual $6 bucks when downloading from Live.
Try better next time, "smart shopper".
If it's like Sony's Personal 3D Viewer, only in 1080p and with head-tracking, it should be awesome.
And glasses are ridiculous, now?
Sony's helmet may be kinda silly-looking, but
a) You're supposed to use it alone (why would you have a room of people around you when using a immersion device?)
b) Total immersion is worth it.
GOOD.
This is the kind of game that should be released on Kinect. Asura's Wrath could've been a good Kinect game. Instead, we got an anime pretending to be a controller game.
COD. Assassin's Creed. Uncharted.
All are easy-mode, easy gratification, no-effort-at-all series. The current market is extremelly casual.
Games like Batman, God of War and even the newest NINJA GAIDEN all have combat engines that seem like they were made for babies, not actual gamers. The worst part? Current players LIKE THAT STUFF. They reward lazyness and easy-as-pie garbage.
Funny, considering WRPGs have far better writing than JRPGs.
You're serious?
Ninja Gaiden was the ONLY hardcore action game series out there, and now it's gone. The only other quality series out there is Bayonetta, and we don't even know if it'll ever get a sequel, since it didn't sell that well. Even if we get Bayo 2, despite having loads of depth, that game wasn't nearly as hardcore as NG. DMC has gone to 30fps land of unresponsiveness (which i bet you don't even know the difference it makes for gameplay),...
You're a casual gamer, "Regent".
