I just don't want to read another cry baby article about how another 360 of theirs died. When you buy hardware built by a software company who has a hard time making properly functioning software, what do you expect?
Soon there will be an anti ps3 article complaining that too many good games are coming out and they can't be expected to play them all. Not to mention the games have 7.1 sound, and they don't have a 7.1 system.
A lot more multiplat games are PS3 lead games than you think. Did you play Burnout Paradise, Mirror's Edge, or Dead Space? That is pretty much the standard at EA, Ubisoft as well (though they also do PC leads)

Why try to compare Halo 3 and Killzone 2? They are two very different shooters. Halo is a game developed for a wide target audience. Hence the generic looking super hero in set in a generic scifi action setting. It is a game that anyone can walk into and enjoy it's arcady run and gun mechanics. It isn't entirely pointless. There are many people out there that would rather use a program than install a new card. Regardless of how simple it may be to set up the card. People unfamiliar to it may be intimidated. Though you're right that it should be cheaper.
This isn't the result of rushing the console out. This is the result of cost cutting. They pointed out that the scratching happens because of not guard on the lens. That guard costs money. With all the money lost on the production of the first xbox, they wanted to make this one as cheap to produce as possible.

This article was written as if they are in some way surprised. Both companies have done this a lot. They are in competition with each other. It is like we will never have an election with no negative ads. At least Sony's slander this time was a list of facts instead of opinion. They brought a ruler to this size contest.
