I am really surprised that people are sticking on the graphics thing so hard. PC gaming is more than graphics. There is frame rate and load times to think about when you are talking performance. The load times alone are huge. I wouldn't want to play a game like Dead Rising 2 on consoles with the huge load times every time you enter or leave your safe house, but on PC the load times are almost nill. Mass Effect 2 is made a lot smoother over all because every time you go someplace, it ...
I am fully expecting the gameplay to be dumbed down to gears of war level. However, I am very excited for the story and I can't wait to see how it ends.
Since I hate it when sites turn a top 10 list into an 11 page article with one thing on each page, I am posting the list so you don't have to do it.
10 Dark Void Zero
9 X-Scape
8 aura-aura Climber
7 Cave Story
6 Photo Dojo
5 AlphaBounce
4 Mario vs. donkey Kong: minis March Again
3 Trajectile
2 ArtStyle: Pictobits
1 Santae: Risky's Revenge
I wouldn't quite say that the cat is out of the bag. While Blizzard didn't intend for this to come out until monday, the teaser doesn't really show much. Kerrigan is being pursued by Nova, which was pretty predictable. What will really have say more is all the interviews and preview articles that are set to come out on Monday.
I wish this concept of winning E3 would go away.
From what I have heard the big upgrade in Win 8 will be touch interface integration. Unless you have a touch screen monitor, there is no real need to move off 7. Even then it doesn't really apply to gamers. I have a hard time picturing a new DirectX coming out with it. As it is most games aren't fully made for 11 yet.
Even from the stand point of standard users, most people are still on XP. Win7 is a good OS, I would rather see MS support of update Win7 instead...
@Perjoss Naw, a puzzle game wouldn't be dumb enough for them. They trying to turn ME3 into a Gears of War clone. That is why the game was delayed. Bioware is busy taking out options for players, and palette swapping the 3 areas of the game so that they feel different.
On a side note: the reason Star Wars is taking so long is because they are preemptively removing content and options. Since you can't release a bunch of sequels with less features of an MMO, they ar...
This has nothing to do with the PC, and should not be in the PC section. People need to stop clicking all categories when they post articles. Also, people approving articles need to catch this.
Well all system launches are bound to come with a few crap games.
Next time they need to move the cue cards to behind the camera. That way she can at least look towards the camera while reading her lines. The review was good and confirmed that I will buy this as soon as it is dirt cheap in a Steam sale. I really want to play the single player, but I have no interest in the multiplayer at all. I don't want to play CoD online, I don't want to play a CoD clone online. Maybe it'll be on sale during the summer sale. Shogun 2 here I come.
Bayonetta took that genre, tore it apart, and threw it into crazy town. It was amazing. What made the combat so great wasn't the huge combos, it was how the combos worked. They were very timing based. If you wanted to do well, you couldn't button mash. The punches and kicks were precisely timed and ordered in a very intuitive way. At no point did it feel like I was pushing randomly ordered buttons to do a combo. GoW3 had the same gameplay as GoW2. They didn't evolve it at ...
I don't want my games to have perfect infallible characters. That is why I don't like Superman. Perfect is boring.
My problem with snipers is there are too many of them. In a class based team game they have their purpose, but having a team that made up of half snipers is frustrating. They aren't helping the team at that point, and are just going out for their K/D ratio. MAG is a perfect example of this. When attacking you only need 1 sniper. Half of the team staying back and not pushing the line forward is counter productive.
I could download the game off Steam, or I could pay more for a box copy that requires a disk. Why would I want to buy the store copy?
Why yes, My PC is up to spec and will be able to run Crysis 2 on max settings. Thank You for your concern.
The decade just started. Saying such a thing now just makes these people look foolish. The game could be great, but there is still a lot of games to come out in the coming years.
The game looks great and all.
But people need to stop putting console exclusive articles in every category. This game is not coming out for the PC, Wii, or 360. It doesn't belong in those categories. People who are approving need to take notice of this too.
I hate what raptr does to twitter. It covers my feed with spam. I don't look to twitter to see what my friends are playing. I turn on my console to see that. I stopped following people that use that stuff a long time ago.
Check out the Rock Paper Shotgun article about how they got their quotes in the article.

PSP games don't sell in the west because they are all free, not because the PSP isn't popular enough.
