A 360 with barely better hardware, same bullshit kinect, more restrictive, with apps and features (all behind a paywall) that are completely pointless in a game console and have been around for years on multiple devices. Actually...they are. Sony has higher numbers(even in the us), better hardware, better price, more hype, more positive feedback, more talented developers, it's releasing in almost double the countries at launch, and more consoles are allocated at launch. Since Ms is losing on their home turf, expect the rest of the world to be even more grim for the x1. To deny this, you could be labeled as delusional at best.

Yes but unfortunately most gamers don't read that much into gaming news. We are a dying breed, and considered a minority compared to the millions of casuals. Check out any of the gameplay videos and it's pretty clear that shadow fall is years ahead of Ryse. Shadow fall having more preorders than all x1 exclusives combined is a testament to that. Hype is anything but dead for killzone. Nice attempt though

I'm just stating that 90% of your argument is moot. Why pay more for something that does less? You can argue from a games standpoint. There may be games that you enjoy that are on Xbox only and I'm sure not everyone enjoys Sony's exclusives, but from a technical, financial, and value standpoint, the ps4 outshines the Xbox. Better value, better hardware, better price, and the same features for less. That is not a matter of preference, those are facts.

It seems to me that almost all the things you listed will be available on the PS4 as well, except for free...
The PS3 surpassed the 360 with a much higher price, releasing a year later, and without the boost of millions of repurchases from the rrod.

Yet hardware and software preorders for the ps4 are trouncing the xbox. Just because it did well in America last gen does not mean it will this gen. Also your logic doesn't make sense because the original Xbox did poorly in America as well.

I guess Ryse is the only game you've seen this gen. Judging by the gameplay, I bet you reviews will be between the 4 and 7 range. Killzone and infamous look years ahead of Ryse.
Agreed, the games do look pretty darn good, but not lquite like real life....yet. But there are quite a few games that look and play better than rise.
