Sorry, but if at this point you haven't figured out that this game is for you then I don't see what else could convince you. Not every game needs a 20 minute developer walkthrough. With 6 trailers, we've seen the different types of gameplay, we've seen a basic outline of the story, we know (most) of the characters, and we know the history of the game's creator. Any more information at this point would be overkill.
Your fragile masculinity is showing. I've never seen someone get so upset about a woman lead character and attempt to use the "realism" angle as a means of justification. As you can clearly see in the trailer, Ellie is a grown woman and has masculine traits. She's was born in battle and fighting is all she's ever known. If she were a real character, I'd be willing to bet that she would easily beat the crap out of you or me.
