This isn't news to anyone. We knew Kinect was a gimmick since its inception, and judging by the footage we've seen of Kinect 2, it looks like more of the same. Why ms would build their entire console around this piece of crap is beyond me.
Doesn't negate the fact that Kinect can't be used as a form of precision control. When will the fanboys learn? It doesn't matter what developers do, Kinect will be nothing more then an added gimmick. I'm not a huge fan of the move and eye, but it can do almost everything the Kinect can (voice nav, facial recognition, hand gestures, hd audio/video, 1 to 1 tracking etc..) and it can be used as a form of precision control ie; Killzone and socom.
