After selling my Wii to a co-worker I feel absolutely no remorse about it. It didn't come with any games, but I did get an extra $20 credit for trading in my old 20gb 360 at Gamestop.
I just bought the 60gb sku last night. It does have the 175 watt power supply. I'm assuming it came with the Falcon chipset, but I really don't know how to tell. Regardless, it is a little quieter and cooler than my previous 360. You get about 45gb on the hard drive when all is said and done.

I'm with you there. I only spent about half of what you said, and I still feel a little weird about the whole thing. I just never could get into it. Don't get me wrong. Mario Galaxy and Metroid were decent, but I guess I prefer more blood and guts. RE: Umbrella Chronicles wasn't enough for me.

I think M$ copied the iPod to begin with. Wait and you'll see that M$ will revamp their Zune to look like the wide screen Nano.
I can't say I was blown away, but I also can't say I was bored. I probably won't be buying this when it hits the shelves. It's got a lot of possibilities, so I'll just wait for some more reviews.

I have a Silver account, so I tried to play Gears online and it wouldn't let me. I thought that since Gears is also on the PC I might be able to get in. No dice.
it will not have wifi standard. The only real difference from the previous Pro sku's is that the HDD is larger and it probably has a smaller power supply (175w?). It should also have the Falcon chipset, but I hope it has the newer Jasper chipset, which should result in cooler operating temps and less fan noise. Sadly, you will still have to purchase a separate wifi adapter.
the PS3 no longer costs $600. Ever heard of the $399 sku?
I intend to trade in my current 360 for this new sku at Gamestop. The replacement M$ gave me sounds worse than my original 360, so I hope these 60gb units run quieter and cooler. Hopefully, that will be the LAST 360 I will ever have to buy.
