Let's say you could have either pricing scheme or either console, which do you think would hailed and which would be hated on?
The two that popped out were MGS and GTA. I could care less about the rest. FF13 has turned me off of Final Fantasy forever (but I'm glad I played the previous ones).
I got the beta last night and played it for about an hour today.
The modern warfare 2 comparisons are spot on. It really does feel like that game in speed and controls. To me this is a bad thing because having played modern warfare, world at war and modern warfare 2 a TON and then moving to bad company 2 which i played even more, I probably won't be giving the beta much more of my time.
If they just put the new maps in Bad Company 2, I'd pay for them...
I wanted to like FF13, but it is a chore to play. I got about half way through and lost interest and haven't touched it since.
I don't think I will buy another Final Fantasy game.
It's OK. It would be a lot better if you didn't have to pay for every little add-on.
The base game doesn't offer much in my opinion as the core gameplay is pretty thin and if my memory serves me it only comes with one or two levels. (You have to pay for more).
To me it's a $4.99 game.
Joe Danger is a lot of fun. A mix between racing and platforming. It's fun and certainly worth the price especially when comparing it to other titles which cost the same.

I can't see how someone can make a statement about a game being laggy online when a person's connection quality is completely subjective and based on a number of factors.
There are so many retarded comments on here it's depressing. There have also been a ton of utterly shite articles that have been going top of the front page here for awhile. It's really discredit...

I play a lot of games including FPS and squad based games. I use the voice chat sometimes (when the people I'm playing with are cool) but rarely. The problem is either:
- They have their mic turned up too high and I can hear everything from them chewing food to talking to their wife or mom or yelling at their kid or dog.
- They are immature. Literally. They sound like they are 1...

I haven't seen the PS3 implementation of 3D on any 3D TVs, but I had active shutter glasses with my original 3DFX Voodoo card and I used to play Quake (forgot which version) on it.
It was pretty cool at first but the glasses ended up in my junk pile pretty quickly because the shutter glasses gave me a headache pretty quickly.
I'm sure the current version of 3D using active shutter glasses is much improved, but I am skeptical. Once they figure out ho...

misleading. when i read heavily discounted i thought it would be $20. $10 off a seasonal sports title that will be worth $5 in a few weeks is a slightly discounted deal.

If they bring back the Japanese commentary from Winning Eleven 6: Final Evolution, one of the best games ever made, then I'll buy it. Sadly PES/WE has gone to the shitter since its PS3 move.
I would love to see WE/PES PS2 version redone for PSN however. I would gladly pay $39.99 for it assuming it had up to date rosters.
animals don't seem to respawn like the cars in GTA really (where you could just spin around and cars would spawn.
if you don't find any animals you're looking for go somewhere else and come back. also try at a different time of day.
finally it may be coincidence but i find cougars appear after you've killed other game.
i have this and personally i think it deserves a point more 7.2. it's shallow but has great graphics and good old school style gameplay. worth a few bux IMHO
I agree with your comments although I didn't get to try multiplayer too much because my horse was invisible. I did however "free roam" in single player hunting and picking flowers. I don't know why I kept stopping to pick flowers because I think it's lame but I figured there must be something where I have to pick 100 of them.
Trophies are great.
They give you something more to do if you want and it gives you enjoyment and pleasure.
It's also nice to be ranked amongst your PSN friends as well.
Basically it feeds into our need/enjoyment of competition, which is why we play a lot of games to begin with.
That said, I have yet to unlock a platinum trophy. I'm level 8 right now with about 550 trophies or so. I'm close in a couple of games, ...
