sorry, I've have both FIFA11 and PES11 for PS3, and PES11 is better this year. FIFA is only better with respect to licensing.
Try both and see for yourself.
I bought FIFA11 this year and played it offline and online a lot. I enjoyed it and it was fun. I had some good online matches as well and played about 3-4 seasons in the career mode.
The things I did not like about FIFA were:
- The players all played and felt the same.
- It was far too easy for a defender to take the ball off of you and almost impossible to thread a through ball past a defender.
- Load times were long and did annoy me, especially in ca...
I think these comparison articles are not that useful. Most people have one console and for those who have both the PS3 and 360, I think people already prefer one to the other no matter what.
360+PS3+xbox gold subscription = 360
360+PS3+no xbox subscription = PS3
comparison articles = flame/troll bait
I've enjoyed FIFA11, but I can't get over the fact that players all do seem the same. There is way too much switching of possession in midfield it's not realistic. It's not possible to dribble past any defender no matter how good the dribbler is and how poor the defender is. There are lots of positives about FIFA but overall I think PES is finally ahead of FIFA again.

I'll be pissed if I don't get in the beta. I downloaded the theme as soon as I got home from work, it was almost a 5000. Figuring not everyone rated it I doubt I'm in. I have been a PSN+ subscriber for months now.
If a dev makes a game that is good quality, a good value, and well supported, people will buy it and support the dev.
Things like this "online pass" are just cheap money grabs by greedy publishers.
Personally, what would have been less offensive is if they cut the price of the games by $10, let's say selling at $49.99 then you could if you wanted to play online, get the $9.99 online pass key.
The way it is now is really lame.
Last time I checked it wasn't illegal to resell an item that you own.
EA is entitled to add an additional layer so they can make more money, but that is the only reason it's being done. This is same as releasing a title and then having a $9.99 DLC that basically unlocks something already on the game disc.
It's lame and a cheap money grab. Especially from a company that releases the same exact sports titles year in and year out and STILL they want...

Honestly I was disappointed with the graphics in New Vegas when I got it because I was expecting it to at least have some more polish or some new shaders or SOMETHING. It's got nothing. It's exactly the same as far as I can tell. I was at least hoping for a close-up over the shoulder view camera. I guess I should get the PC version and wait for mods (I have the PS3 ver).
Personally I seem to recall finding the DC area in Fallout 3 to be more breathtaking than New Veg...
I hated the beta but really enjoy the multiplayer of MoH. It's quite fun and honestly it plays more like BFBC2 than MW2.
odd that most of the companions prefer melee. it would be cool if the robot/dog could shoot lasers or something.
i went through the whole story in fallout 3 and played some expansions and never got a single follower. it just never came up or i must have killed or let them get killed..
it would be nice to have a follower this time.
one thing that gets to me is the faction system in new vegas. i hate being attacked when i fast travel to a loca...
been waiting for this.. i've enjoyed MoH so far.. a lot more than I thought i would based on all the pre-release hate.
personally the most recent game that I got that sucked was Dead Rising 2. I really regret that purchase.

this could make certain people who own the PS3 version pirate the PC version for the DLC and mods. hopefully the $$$ MS paid them offsets this reasonable response.
it would be interesting to know if they would have made more off of PS3 DLC than what MS paid them.

now, if the site shows the list with 1 per page.. then it's obviously a crap site. just list then 10-1 with a block of text and some pics.
It's pretty simple to counter sniping by... counter-sniping or flanking where the snipers are camping.
If a lot of people are sniping a level it means the other team is just being dumb, IMHO.
If you look at Fallout 3 without comparing it to Fallout 1 or 2, you have to say it's a great game.
I can understand the disappointment in hardcore fans but for the masses it was a huge hit. I know a ton of people who never played Fallout 1 or 2 and loved 3.
New Vegas looks awesome and I can't wait to go home and play it.
the single player was fun but overal meh. the multiplayer by dice however has surprised me by how fun it is and how well it's presented. that said i'm more looking forward to battlefield vietnam DLC.
for me, the best PS2 game was Winning Eleven 6: Final Evolution (JAP)..
and my favorites: Gran Turismo 2/4, MGS Snake Eater, Vice City, San Andreas
there were so many fantastic games for PS2.. i wish my PS2 was still working. it has a terrible time reading discs. my 60GB phat PS3 also just YLOD, which makes me sad. don't feel bad for me though i have a PS3slim with 320gb.
we need more PS2 releases on PSN. it's lame i can't just go...
it will be another 10 years until PS3 gets as many good games as the PS2 has. there are so many i can't remember them all
