SONY's theory on this is a double edged sword.
PS1- Easy to program for, they taunted Sega because the Sat, had 3 processors and was difficult to program for.
PS2 was custom , but it was the leader of the pack so they saw no reason not to learn how to juice it since the install base was very promising
PS3- Competition is hot and the system finds it self in 3rd place (for now) and the future of it its much more uncertain than in time before.

Sega , was faster in processor, SNES had more over all graphic\color power

Its funny HD DVD Drive, and "quiet fan" how about you put quality control in your system from the beginning first, instead of making it an elite offering, its like hey want a 1 shoe, or you can have both with shoe laces, in 2 years
Out of all those catagories, PS3 is only behind Xbox in 2, and the US obviously, thats enough to tell you , globally 360 will not last as a #2.
I think the game came out pretty close to as good as it could be, and I wouldnt doubt if Valve didnt lend to much of a hand to help them out when they were actually making the game, ya now they are willing to patch up. Anyways, the framerate things, really doesnt bother me to much as its one of those, get the !@#$ over it things, however, the loading times, now that is insane and needs to be corrected considering every PS3 has a harddrive and they use 430MB on it for the game. 360s dont even ...

Well I can say this I decided to rent UTIII to try it out, I played it about 30 min, and immediately went out and bought it,
UT3 and Drakes , got them both dont regret it at all, 100% recommended
Im an IT Manager, I use Vista , and try it out with everyday coporate programs and server work, over all I give it a 6-7 out of 10. The server functionality when working with a server is horrible, I assume they want you to upgrade to server 2008 prob is why, nice way to force you to want to move and pay up. The look and shell is great but over all until people get the driver upgrades out in mass and more people switch , even then the best I would give it then would be an 8.

Well I wont lie, I liked the demo I played it alot. Also Im a big fan of the Kane N Lynch Demo!!! Might buy it now sweet pace in that game, clean graphics not top notch but decent.
