Is there anything Sony hasnt got covered for next gen? All these revealing fine detail bits makes me wonder just what else is planned - for PS4, PS Vita and the whole PlayStation world.
My thoughts too, that MS might have something to do with this. That DRM switch that so easily turned off can be so easily turned back onagain at the aappropriate time.
And given all the money MS has, I wouldnt put a sneaky underhand, low-key campaign to reinstate DRM, past them.
I hope the storyline ties in / explains the ending to Kz3.

It seems a while back that it was revealed GG had a new IP in the pipeline. Hopefully its for PS4 - or was it referring to Mercenaries on Vita? Anyone any idea?
It will be the final part of Sony's very successful strategy and bury the ghost of launching behind the 360 this (last?) gen.
But 3D in 4K is 2C the future :-)

Totally agree. I only 'discovered' him recently and I have a lot of time for the guy. A real gamer.
With its ease-of-development making quality game development significantly quicker - and with the sheer number of developers on board - I can see PS4's game library building up FAST - and expensive.
I hope game releases throughout the year becomes a consideration - least of all, to prevent must-have titles releasing around the same time.
As I understand it, the media player is loaded with a dozen movies in 4k, I believe. Streaming 4k isnt going to be a viable proposition, I think, for the forseeable future.
As well as PS4, Sonys BDP 790 blu-ray player can also play 4k discs. Again, and as I understand it, Sony are remastering certain content into 4k, much the same as the stuff they remaster in HD.
This coming after Edge's stance on the PS4 - it seems like Sony's direction for gaming has universal support.
Yes it is - just like taking a holiday in the Martian colonies, playing crazy crater golf on the moon and taking a quick hyperdrive tour of the cosmos. Just not yet.
Going to be interesting to see the Edge review scores for PS4 exclusives :-)
