Perhaps you should grow up GrownUpGamer
Yeah, Microsoft promising gamers the World and a year down the line....?
Good luck with that if you buy into their lies.
I still play a hell of a lot of GT5 and my PS3 games-to-play list stretches to infinity and beyond thanks to PS+.
Im excited for PS4 but my PS3 is definitely going nowhere.
@kinger8938
I think the style is determined by where and when each game is set in the Killzone history / universe.
Its ok to wait. Ive been buying Sony since the 70's and apart from one crappy DVD recorder and a YLOD on my original 60 gb PS3, its all been good.
Got mine preordered on Amazon.
I think once the devs have got to grips with the hardware and what it opens up in terms of graphics and gameplay, then we will see a greater definition between the gens.
Trust me on this, I got a beard lol
Jack of all trades sprang to my mind straight off too - which can be a good thing. But MS must have their focus on gamers. After all, isnt that what a gaming console is primarily designed for?
The messages MS have sent out have been totally f****d up right from the start.
@Nicaragua
I think you misunderstood what I meant about choice. I know Kinect is an integral part of the xbone - the choice I meant was to buy the console or not.
Im not a fan of MS, their console or business practices - buts thats me and my choices.
Same here. This game, Shadowfall and Destiny are at the top of my most-wanted(so far) for PS4.
@ Urusernamesucks
That's what she said........lol
Well now that MS has poured so much resources ie research time and money - into Kinect, they can only prove its gaming worth by producing and DEMONSTRATING games and gameplay applicable to the device.
Failing that, it just becomes a channel-changing gimmick.I wouldn't knock anyone buying it as, like everything else, it's about personal choice.
The biggest criticism of Borderlands (1) was it's lack of story and disappointing ending - but the journey through the game, I found to be highly addictive fun.
With BL2. I would agree about the lack of depth of each character - except for just one - Krieg. And for me, the real empathy for this character, came about from 'A meat bicycle made for two'. I just love that clip.
Thats sounds pretty cool but you have to wonder why the hell MS havent trumpeted or shown off features like this,up front?
You will never know who is on the receiving end of the camera and microphone despite what MS says.
I can't help but think that the only rational and logical explanation for MS to plough on with their DRM policies at the outset, despite the overwhelming condemnation, was because there was a greater and unseen agenda.
Paranoid......conspiratorial. ....yes, preferable to being naive I think.
I think Sony's avalanche of developers producing an avalanche of quality games in differing genres will be Sony's major strength this gen.
Microsoft will make up the ground by its strength of advertising. After a half billion dollars on kinect 1, who knows the budget for xbone.. Astronomical, for sure.
Its an excellent, well-written DLC. Ive completed one playthrough but now Im taking my Siren through on UVHM and there's some real difficulty spikes for the single player.
I wish Sony had acquired 38 Studios after they had collapsed. Kingdoms of Amalur:Reckoning is one of my favourite games this generation.
Such a talented team of devs deserved better.
Never bought a cricket game but I am tempted. Must admit I could use the exercise :-)
The best DLC of the game imo. Funny, challenging and well written.
Well thePS4 will have games and the xbone will have games....
