The PS3 isnt "much older" -- it was delayed, it was *late* to market. It was scheduled for launch at the same time.

If you think Sony can wait until November 2016 (10 years) before it releases the PS4, you've lost your mind.

The PS2 has a "10 year lifespan", but really, the PS2 is being sold to replaced broken PS2s, or for children (etc). In the market, the PS2 is irrelevant.

Do you still play your PS2? I dont know anyone who...

"yeah the 360 got lucky with FF13 being on the console"

Tales of Vesperia caused the spike. Infinite Undiscovery (and Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey and Eternal Sonata)

Cry On, Blue Dragon 2, Final Fantasy XIII, Star Ocean 4 and Last Remnant -- and some number of unannounced titles -- are inbound.

The Japanese market **WILL NOT** ignore the home of RPGs: The Xbox 360.

"but it still doesn't change the fact that it dies in J...

Are those tears we hear?

Infinite Undiscovery, Cry-On, Blue Dragon 2, Last Remnant, Star Ocean 4... the Xbox 360 has *piles* of JRPG titles comign that cater directly to the Japanese market.

The PS3 is a MPAA-DRM wet-dream disguised as a game-machine; sorry, Sony overplayed its hand and has been left out this generation.

Xbox 360 is the king of J and W RPG. No doubt about it, and the J market keeps demanding JRPG titles.

Infinite Undiscovery and Final Fantasy are going to keep the Japanese momentum going.

Without a doubt, the Xbox 360 has broken the Japanese market.

Good news for all gamers.

@1.4

The point is very clear: The Japanese are buying the Xbox 360 to play games. You're just bending over backwards to apologize. There are *m...

Windows Media Center 2002.

Sony ripped off MS's Twist UI. WMC was released in 2002 (and shown, far sooner). Sony's first rip-off appeared in 2003 with PSX.

The NXE is a variant of the Twist UI Microsoft started showing *before* WMC was released in 2002.

Are you people for real?

This is the Twist Interface. It is used Windows Media Center and Zune SW.

Windows Media Center was released in **2002***. Are you saying the XMB looks like WMC? Because WMC was released in *2002* while PS3 in 2006.

@1.8 RE: PSX, it was released in 2003 (again, after WMC in 2002).

You == epic fail.

I'll be buying two - we do laptop computing on a glass table, and this is terrific news.

Clearly a rip-off of the Fable covers.

Way to go Sony, keep those photocopiers fired-up.

Actually, Zune is second place in marketshare behind ipod.

Everyone (except apple) "fails" according to you.

6373d ago 3 agree1 disagreeView comment

That's good news.

I've got a glass kitchen table that we do laptop-computing at. I'd *love* a high precision mouse that doenst use a pad or a laser.

Cant wait to see what they've come up with.

Just epic. Looks fantastic in every regard.

Great settings, wonderful art direction, fluid animation -- great. I just wish the video had better audio -- I'm eager to see how Russell Shaw's music is going.

Hey Jackhole, Too Human has 6.9/10 at Game Rankings and Metacritic.

Why dont you _scuk-it_. Too Human may not be for everyone, but its a damn fine game.

Oh, and get that throat good and ready, Fable 2 is going to smash the PS3 fall line-up - and you Sony fangirls are gonna have lots of work throat work to do.

Its really terrific seeing you Sony Fanboys attacking the developer again -- cry sony fanboys, cry.

"oh noes, a developer refuses to lie and say the PS3 is the bestest! I'm angry at him! he suxors!1!"

Keep it up girls, you're a laugh-riot.

You know what is really funny?

All you people saying "har har 33% fail" like its remotely attached to reality.

the fail rate A) is no where near 33% and B) never been released.

You're simply talking out of your asses without any source what-so-ever. Its sad. Just sad.

FURTHER, the heat problem was fixed more than a year ago. And, anyone with a problem gets a free, no hassle fix. Which is a HECK of a lot more than Sony ...

Sixaxis is useless for no other reason that it is useless.

As for trophies, why didnt Sony get smart and make that a license requirement? The whole platform is disjoined and suffering.

What a shame, from 1st last gen to dead-last and floundering this gen.

6374d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

This just in: "Sixaxis useless". In other news, the earth is round, the sky is blue and bluray is an MPAA DRM scheme.

More news from the Dept. of Obvious at 11.

Blue Dragon is a terrific game, set in an inventive game world. With wonderful art direction and music.

I can't wait for Blue Dragon 2.

Ha. You're talking out your arse, as is the author.

6374d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

Right.

Enjoy your MPAA-sponsored BluRay player. Did you ever have a PS2? Did you have **3** of them fail like I did? Did you get Sony to do **ANYTHING** to remedy the problem? no? oh, me either.

How about the rest of the Sony proprietary formats and schemes?

Anyone want a memory-stick device these days?

You've got to be totally ignorant to *not* know that Sony is the most anti-customer firm in the industry (games *or* electronic...
