All hardware is supported in Windows.
Just so you know, n4user1's -logic- trumps opinion. Thats kind-of the nature of logic.
@1.15
"you have to pay $50 for it, therefore add another $50 bucks to that price. Man you two are sharp"
Wow. None of those (great) games need to get online.
Halo 3, PGR4, Foraz 2, Oblivion, Dead Rising, PacMan CE, Stuntman, Prey -- none need online play.
Now, you do need to pay $30-35 to "Buy" something useful for the BluRay drive dont you? What good is the PS3 as a movie play unless you pay for the movies?
I have all three machines. But you're clearly misinformed and really shouldnt be replying here.
I dont normally do this. But Your post is so misinformed and silly, I jus thave to respond.
- fatally flawed hardware
The equipment has been repaired. And, you get a 3 Year Warranty. People who buy this dont have to worry about
You really need to look into the changes that have been made in the last 27 months.
- 8 so-so games ...
Why? Because the Campaign mode is stellar.
1) Agree.
2) Agree.
3) Take it to the Open Zone.
No one thinks the heat-failure is anywhere near that. Please stop talking trash in the Gamer Zone.
Be realistic please.
As a gaming machine, the PS1 wasnt that big a deal frankly. I think the other machines were under-valued because they were cart-based.
I believe the NES deserves #1 for "rescuing" home game consoles. It was unmatched in its time.
The Xbox 360 is the first of the the truely connected game consoles. And, it is doing that vastly better than its competitors.
That is one very clear victory for the Xbox 360. It is doing things that the others are not even approaching yet. In that sense, it is ground breaking.
It is also dominating software sales, awards and critical acclaim -- from launch, until today.
Im sorry to all the people on N4G who wish ill against MS and Xbox 360 -- f...
I dont think #1 for Xbox 360 is correct either.
But, there is no denying the ground breaking console that it is.
I'd have probably put the NES at #1. And would have removed the Gamecube and put the Wii on the list.
I'd have put Xbox 360 at about #5-6. Time will tell if it should move up or down the list.
This fellow is trying to ruin N4G for the rest of us. Please report as spam. Thank-you.
The visual effects are not simply "Graphics". The Water, Lighting, Explosions/Fire/Smoke (particle effects), Heat Contrails and the rest are what constitute "Visual Effects".
I thought Halo 3 looked great, and yes, the Visual Effects are remarkable.
But, in the end, it is the gameplay that makes Halo 3 a great game. It is the overall experience for any title that truely makes it great. Items like Visual Effects -- and specific awards -- are...
"MS paid for the award".
Ok. That's enough. Can you people *please* stop trying to destroy N4G? Can you be any more ridiculous?
From what are you basing this idea?
Halo 3 was the best selling game of 2007. It got almost total postiive reviews, and has a Gameranking of 93/100.
Its just laughable that you'd say such a thing. Halo 3 was a milestone in gaming... if it doesnt deserve awards, well what does?
I try and keep a level head here. But the comments up and down this forum are truely making me laugh-out-loud.
I dont think the article says that Uncharted was or was not a good looking, or fun game.
But that isnt directly related to this article is it?
Because Halo 3 was given an award for Visual Effects doesnt mean anything about Uncharted.
Im sorry, but please try and keep your comments someone reasonable, this is the Gamer Zone. If you want to simply flame against Halo 3, Im sure you'll find no objections in the Open Zone.
The trouble with what your thinking Wageslave is that the DS is pretty cheap. I dont think they can make a Danger cellphone that children will own.
Now, if they aim it at the PSP and the iphone, I think they will have a big hit.
Maybe the Zune will line-up against the DS? I dont know... but they are going to make a big splash on the handheld space sometime soon.
The Amount of upswing on this segment of the market is pretty big. The internet connected everything, and various gadgets and stuff is a big big market for MS.
I wonder how long Nintendo can hang-in the "VideoGame" business before their product gets pushed back to "toy".
Sony certainly has more products in electronics, but will they be able to compete with MS software?
There will be a lot of money made, and the competition is g...
Hey, guy above me, do work at MS? Somehow I doubt you're correct.
They seem like they just work really really really hard, and hire the best people.
Why the hate? Competition is good for us all. Dont think for a second that MSs competitors think that way, Im sure they respect them a great deal.
Maybe you should take a deep breath and relax.
I just hope this fixes COD4.
