Let me explain it to you. MS sent *non-gold* code to reviewers so that they had 4 weeks instead of 1 week time to review the game.
Thats it. All the reviews are based on PREVIEW CODE -- and they want to make sure the previewers know that. Thats all.

No game is perfect. Every game has some minor issues here and there.
The bottom line is NGII is scoring 8+ almost everywhere which makes it a damn fine game. Not every game scores 10.

Goto Metacritic, and get the average review from MGS 1, 2 and 3.
Total them and divide by three.
You'll learn that the AVERAGE review from all three games from both series, that Halo recieves a better score.
