The obvious fact that you are missing is that America has an obvious bias slant for the 360. The selling point in Japan besides fads, are stories and gameplay that actually encompass a user. The American market is all about reenacting action that would be illegal in reality, because it is the war/violence/depression influence the country has been under for years. Not to mention the holiday season deals are about to hit, I personally wouldn't buy a console right now.
I knew so many people who bought a Wii, and they are all collecting dust. It's a shame. At least there are some decent games coming out for it lately, if only they would stop with the wii-remote gimmick, but then again that is the only thing keeping it from being a gamecube, isn't it?

Say what you will about that original trailer, I'm glad it went the way it did. It forced the team to push a lot harder to achieve the high expectations placed on them. Besides the devoted xbots out there, everyone else can easily say this game met and even advanced further the expectations of this game with actual gameplay videos.
