Yeah speak in multi-platform language, you wouldn't want to confuse the 360 trolls with exclusives.
Speaking of multi-platform, I wonder if they've fixed the Bioshock bugs yet on the PC version? Seeing as other multi-platform titles like Gears of War were given 20% more content on the PC version, you'd expect the Bioshock PC version to be a little better. The hard drive is guaranteed after all. I wonder how long it will take before Halo 3 hits Games for Windows?
GOTY? 7,000 animations and effortless controls. Arguably the greatest visuals on the market, and the gameplay is all there.
It will be hard to compete with COD4 for the title though, even Assassin's Creed... Then you have Unreal Tournament. Not to mention the Halo 3 hypefest.
I like Sony and all (mostly because I haven't been able to put up with the mess of Microsoft for many years), but this game has never appealed to me. I'll take Warhawk, Heavenly Sword, Unreal Tournament, Uncharted, Haze, and Ratchet before this game any day.
So one of the biggest 360 fanboys on this site has already confirmed they are waiting to buy a PS3? I guess 2008 is the year the 360 crop shrinks again. Great toughNAME, now Microsoft will have to abandon another console. I hope you're happy.
You can look at it how ever you want, but all signs point to a bad development system. Any game on any console would have performance issues (in relation to their other games) if the game was created to use a limited amount of the functionality of the hardware. It's common sense.
If you knew anything about console releases you would know that games cannot be released with crashes in them for a console release. I'm surprised Microsoft let this build see the light of day. PC cras...
Most people buy the PS3 to simply play games, but each console sold still counts as a bluray player sold.
"Another big announcement is that as well as HP, Dell and Lenovo all supporting Bluray, Acer will now also be, meaning the top 4 laptop manufacturers are all committed to the format."
More good news.
There's a lot of encouraging news in there.
That can't be right, my PS3 still works.
No kidding, and yes it was a decent read.
You can keep your balance of gameplay and graphics, I'd rather have both.
I'm not hating on the game, only the crowd it attracts.
Does anyone actually believe this game is going to get anything but 9+/10 scores? All these "review" sites gave this game a rating before it was created. That's the Halo effect.
And it was the same unit that was tested in the first phase of testing. It shouldn't have lasted that long to begin with, yet it did. It was ultimately broken due to an attachment. Even the television had to be reset half way through the tests because it wasn't set up for these conditions.
Why are you spamming this in every topic? Are you really that desperate?
Wow actionjackson, you nailed it. Well done.
I think he is high off the BS fumes.
This is the third source I've heard talk about the ease of the controls in Uncharted. I'm glad they got the fundamentals down right, because everything else looks stellar.
Not to mention 7,000 animations, what can you say to that?
I'm yet to see a PS3 debugging station in action. I've seen a PS2 test station, it looked the same as the retail except the "PS2" font on the top was replaced by the word "Test".
I've also used an xbox test kit (original xbox). It was completely green and transparent.
I might get my hands on a PSP station soon.
P.S. This is in relation to the PS3 test station shown in the video
"Was it really possibly after the torture of the last tests on “How to kill a ps3 console” that we had succeeded, keeping in mind that this was the same console."
I'm surprised it lasted that long.
It's amazing how everyone says Halo 2 sucked, but it was basically a repackaged Halo 1. That's telling, isn't it?
