I respect that other ppls preferences may differ, but I bought the X1 because I wanted high scoring AAA titles and as the article states, MS succeeded.

It's almost like great games are a forgone conclusion. X1 has had a good first year with some great games...but to the authors credit, X1 is all that, and so much more.

Don't think Ryse belongs on the list, it was greatly underrated.

After a year of comparing games it's pretty obvious that they look either identical or nearly identical.

If the best excuse someone has to own a certain console is to pause a game on a 60" tv and stand 2 feet away and squint to try and justify their decision, then I all I can say is: if that's how you play a game, and that's important to you, great.

For me, I'm enjoying playing some recently released high scoring ...

You are correct, the last 2 weeks X1 sold 100k more per week in the US.

100% agree about WW, only cowards like to compare sales from 42 Countries to 100 Countries. It's like telling a Girl-guide that she'll sell more cookies at 42 houses than 100, or a street musician that he'll get mor money in his hat if 42 pp stop tom listen compared to 100.

Congrats MS on X1 sales, the Xbox brand has continued to grow with each generation.

What's most impressive is that 360 launched in 36 Countries and quickly add 4 more. X1 launched in 13 and didn't add 29 more till September

If X1 can beat 360 with just 13 Countries then X1 should really pull away from 360 now that it's an apples to apples comparison. 360 also had no next ten competition for a year so this is really impressive.

TMCC was the highest selling game in the world, not easy when X1 is in 42 Countries and the other consoles are in 100.

That being said, put into perspective, Great sales numbers on X1. Passed the WiiU which had a years head start. Remember it took PS3 8 years to catch the 360.
