Guessing there will be no online multiplayer. SA-MP really was pretty damn fun even though it was a mod salvaged by leftovers that R* left in the game. And was an extremely popular mod at that.
I wonder if they'll add some extra stuff that doesn't mess with the main stories, like new side missions or extra things to do.
The thing i mostly disliked about 3 was the vehicles acceleration and top speeds sucked. I didn't really have a problem with VC and SA. And in SA i found that jumping around was actually faster than running.
According to some L4D2 is a "masterpiece" and can't be bettered, how ignorant can you get.
It took all the way up to the Dreamcast to get rid of 50hz.. Unless you also played handhelds.
Yeah it's like playing most other co-op games alone. Always better with online play, providing you don't get trolls.
It's supposedly even more optimised than the beta was. Which means it can run on rather low end GPUs these days, even a GPU from 2015 will run it pretty well if playing at 1080p.
That said i do wish they had made the graphics a bit better. I've seen the UE4 engine produce better graphics than that in YT videos. I guess it's a last gen console thing as reasons to why they didn't.
I bet SA won't even have an official online mode, which the PC version already had in the form of a mod all the way back in 2005.. And was very popular at that.
It's also being emulated on weak ish hardware, just a 1060 and i5 8400. Hardly high end.
Yeah the humour was at least up there with VC even in the cutscenes, and as you said great music also.
The game is different to L4D. This is a bit more tactical and less speedy, which is supposedly (according to the devs) is why there's no campaign PVP.
They probably could've balanced the specials better to allow for a good PVP mode but for some reason they didn't bother. Instead we get a mode that's half baked similar to L4D's survival versus. I imagine it won't be popular for very long as it feels shoe horned into the game, in a similar way that Kil...
The stories games were really fun, better than GTA 3.
L4D series is in serious need of a new game. Disagree all you like but it doesn't change the fact that L4D2 isn't perfect by any means. Unfortunately Valve got lazy and gave up on a sequel because Source 2 engine wasn't fully finished, so the game had bugs during testing and they stopped development.
S&box (Source 2 engine) will be way better than L4D2 and most newer games in terms of fun, online play, game modes, physics, and support.
Aiming using anything but a mouse in a fps doesn't feel that great.
Still contemplating B4B.. but I still say S&box will be way better.
Kekw. This is all down to the parents, just like finding little kids in extremely toxic and inappropriate adult multiplayer games.
Maybe now that their credit cards are being hit they will take action, some really dumb parents out there.
Have a pre-order in but undecided on it. Might just save the money to go towards a RTX 4080 next year.
98SE was decent for me, XP was good, vista a bit buggy, 7 really good, 10 very good so far.
I'll give it a couple of months before going 11 I think. I won't be upgrading my 5800x until at least Zen 4 or Raptor Lake next year or the year after anyways.
I'll always be a PC gamer regardless if PS games come to the platform or not.
I'm not into this whole Metacritic scores nonsense like a sheep, it's like people who look at the score of a movie before watching it and deciding for themselves.
That said, i do try to watch/play stuff that's at least a 7, for movies I've found that I've seen some good stuff even ranked in the 5/6 range. I guess it's slightly different scoring wise for movies over games, but some people can be extreme snobs.
I just play what i enj...
Tbh I kinda felt the same way about Smash, don't really get the appeal.
If you read around, people tend to put L4D2 up on a pedestal as the ultimate zombie game. However if you've played the game quite a few times you can see the flaws and also where it could be improved quite a bit.. But i think it goes without much saying that a game like L4D that's meant to be played over and over could do with a lot more variety. L4D2 is a really good game, but by todays standards it does lack in graphics, but most importantly variety, and I won't back down from t...
