People beg for HL Alyx on the new PSVR already, the game came out almost 2 years ago, if they like it will they buy/build a good PC? Doubtful.
I'd prefer a game that has a good amount of content, not too long, but fairly challenging to make it last longer tbh. Though it depends, GTA SA is a longer game than VC because it has 2x as many missions and more side stuff, but I enjoyed it so the length was good.
It's ok if it's from PC to console but not the other way around, apparently.
Hardware Unboxed already covered it, early reviews not allowed, Nvidia acting shady. 650 price point for the 10GB card was too low and won't be returning. AIB 10GB cards apparently already discontinued.
It's an excuse to bump up the prices even more, such an odd release considering it's barely any faster and just a bit more VRAM, that's hardly going to make any difference.
4000 series cards will probably have insane pricing now, the 3060Ti...
That's probably most of the ppl on here tbh, many have atrocious grammar too so it makes sense. Guess their parents let them run loose on the internet.
Wasting your time trying to explain PorkChop, looks like we got some ignorant fanboys here kek.
I've only tried Quest 2 shortly, but mine is still boxed. For the money you literally can't get better and even splashing out on an Index doesn't mean you get miles better VR, Index has its own issue with lense glare, or whatever the technical term is. The low cost of Quest 2 is supposedly because of FB integration.
Quest 3 should be great, will probably come out late this year or next year at the earliest i imagine. In the meantime Quest 2 looks more than good ...
KB&M always beats controllers for FPS, or strategy style games like Worms, or management style games like theme park style builders etc.
Simpsons Hit and Run / GTA style would be interesting.. i know people crap on the first game and it got mixed reviews on release but I kind of liked it just for the online multiplayer for the PC version, only 8 players but it was damn funny. The size of the levels was well suited for that many players too.
I mean, consoles are closed off anyways, want to run anything? Go PC. This is why Gabe Newell dislikes consoles because of their walled gardens.
Not even an issue with Quest 2 anyways
It's not even 2 years old just yet but will be by the time it comes to console, this isn't new as console has always been late to receive these kinda games from PC, and you don't need Index to play it, Quest 2 is fine and doesn't have that lense flare issue that Index does.
It's literally just GPU prices that people are unhappy with, I know AMD priced Zen 3 CPUs high to start with but Intel had value/perf offerings, and Alderlake is very strong in its per core performance, that will get better when cheaper motherboards come.
We're currently transitioning between DDR4 and DDR5, I'd give it 6-12 months for reasonable pricing/perf there.
Depends what you go by, IMO all 3/4 original games were good, even the Master System ones were fairly decent. Never owned a GBA but people seem to like the games on that. Rush series was great on DS, SA2 was a fun game. People liked Generations.
Not sure how you can say that about quality unless going by newer games or certain other ones like 06, heroes etc..
Only in the last year or so we've gotten decent 27" 4k monitors with good pixel response and 160+Hz. We still need next gen cards to drive that resolution and speed as the graphics get more complex.
People will probably rave about 8k next but it's not much good when games will run like crap, have high pixel response times and probably be limited to 60Hz along with being expensive.
Will be interesting to see how it performs on PC with a 3080, and next gen 4000 series later next year should perform great in UE5.
Prob gonna sell my 3080 for a grand soon, got it for 650 and already made 2x that by mining, my 3060Ti will be good enough til next gen arrives.
PC should run it better.
Yea but generally PC had online multi way before consoles, I know SEGA had that online service for a short while for 16 bit but it wasn't going for long and it wasn't worldwide.
Like in the 90's and early 2000's before Steam and HL2: DM came along we had to rely on multiplayer services built into the game. Or use Mplayer or Gamespy and Wireplay, they were interesting too.. They were kind of like the Worms 2 online multiplayer interface but for all games.
Shame really, they had good stuff for the 16 bit consoles and even the 2000's they released good Tiger Woods games.
