I used to play Theme Hospital on my first PC, then Black & White a little later, they were good games but today i don't think they hold my interest much.. I remember a couple of my friends on MSN raving about this game and C&C. I think Worms 2 was probably my most favourite for its action and online multiplayer.
I'd like to think their next console would be backwards compatible
Will be getting the physical copy, but i hope there's some interesting difficulty modes etc, from easy for beginners all the way up to very difficult. Just hoping there's no moves you can repeatedly spam to win like in the other games, there's also grabbing exploits where you can take no damage. I'd like the think the devs thought of ways around those little "cheats"
I played this a lot on Xbox, then a little later i played a ton of the multiplayer mod on PC, it was crazy with the 200 player servers. Probably my favourite GTA aside from VC or the stories games.
From what I've seen of the game so far, the trailer and the small amount of screenshots.. it looks like it's very atmospheric, while i wouldn't say the graphics are the best I've ever seen, the detail on stuff overall looks very nice, especially scenes like this https://www.dsogaming.com/w...
Won't be going back to 60hz, used to 1440p 165hz super smooth sweetness now. But that said, DF recently did a video on what GPU you best need for 1440p, and you need a fairly strong card to hold high frame rates in the 80+ range.
I'll be getting a 3070/3080 for 1440p.
Already been used to 100+ FPS on PC, 8ms at 120hz/fps, 16 at 60hz/fps, 33 at 30hz/fps, 6ms at 165hz/fps, 4ms at 240hz/fps and 2ms at 480hz/fps. This is why 240hz+ is dumb IMO.
Consoles will need dynamic resolution scaling or ned/lower textures to hold 60fps at 4K.
I'll be sticking to 1440p high hz for a while longer til moderately more powerful GPUs can comfortably hold 80/90+fps in newer games at 4K.
People who grew up with the original games will probably like to see the film as well, as Jim Carrey said tbh.
Steam needs a new report system, one that when you report them, it takes their chat log from the game you reported them in and uses that against them if reported for abuse etc.. The current system is kind of junk, you can report them but it essentially does nothing, unless they have posted something specifically on their profile that can be seen there.
I would personally get bored of this game, but obviously some people like that kind of thing so.. But i guess it would be interesting to at least try it with those flight sticks and stuff you can get, expensive though.
Rather lose money on my plane ticket than fly over the middle east.. In which case i wouldn't have booked a flight in the first place. Or on any plane for that matter.. hated them for a long time.

There should be a real report button that actually logs bad behaviour, I've seen real threats made in games. It's becoming a major crap hole with toxic players teaching kids pretty much to be the same. This goes unpunished on Steam.. they literally tell you they do nothing on just reports alone.
Steam = completely useless for moderation.
At least people have no excuse not to have enough memory for these new games, RAM has been dirt cheap recently with the last few days of Amazon deals, 16GB 3200Mhz for just £54, hell i bought a spare kit myself even though i have a faster 32GB kit.
Prices are predicted to rise again soon, and DDR5 doesn't seem to be coming to desktops til at least late 2021 or 2022.
Rumours are that they're only going for a mild performance bump with a "Pro" model, if they even release it. Seems a bit pointless IMO for those who already own the system. If that's the case I'd rather wait until the next generation.

I'll buy this on sale at some point on Steam, reviews seem good to mixed, not really sure why? The trailer looks rather fun and IMO the new additional zombies etc seem to be what's needed. I know the series has less replayability (IMO) over something like Killing Floor or L4D but i found the past Zombie Army games to be quite good for at least a few play throughs of each campaign in CO-OP.
I think this is why i preferred the late 90's and early 2000's of PC gaming, we had Game Spy and Wireplay, both with simple interfaces that allowed you to chat in lobbies and go in servers of games you own easily, and no restrictions with who you can play with.
That and games that had multiplayer would have their own MP interface, like Worms 2 had a lobby where you could create your own room & game and stuff.

The Rush series was very good IMO, and i think they proved 3D Sonic can work well like they did with SA2.
Hope it's not exploitable like the past games, no idea why the devs let you repeat OP moves over and over with no penalty.
