Got to lol at the people defending this game, I'd be willing to bet those same people wouldn't have defended Guerilla over that KZ2 2005 reveal! This is exactly the same except Guerilla actually got the final product close too the trailer, this isn't even close!
And why on earth would they be showing PS3/360 footage in a trailer, they're trying to sell it to us not put us off! This is obviously the best looking footage they have!
Wow that's bad, surely that must be the PS360 version!
I'm gonna sue them for Trevor, cause he's got the same hairline as me!
Even better lighting, maybe 4 player co-op? Game was awesome already so even if they've just hit it with a 1080p brush I'd be happy enough.
@geddesmond The multiplayer has indeed changed massively, it's brilliant though. It does take some getting used to at first as like I say it is very different to the multiplayer of old.
It is hard to disagree with you but not because I think it's a bad game, just that it most definitely is the worst of the series from a story perspective. The characters are boring and uninteresting, everything about it screams writers block.
But on the other hand the gameplay is as good if not better than ever, and the graphics are just stunning!
So whilst I really like the game, I have to agree that it is the worst of the series, but that's mostly just cause...
I agree, for some reason I recently had this dawn on me with regards to my music collection. I haven't bought a CD in many many years and I hadn't backed up my hdd in a long long time. Suddenly it dawned on my that if my hdd packs in I'll lose thousands of pound worth of music forever!
Needless to say my hdd is now backed up on a weekly basis, to two backup drives!
I'm not "hating on it" though. I did enjoy it, I said it was a good game! I just really don't see anything worthy of the ridiculous hype it's been getting. It's good but nothing groundbreaking or original.
I thought it felt like COD and Mirrors Edge had a baby, then it was adopted by Brink and Hawken. Which on paper sounds pretty awesome.
Lol, I am hoping not lose too many. Just stating my honest opinion.
Would have to say I agree with him. Having played a few matches in the beta, it's a good game, but not in any way worthy of the crazy hype. To me it actually felt like it should've been a f2p game. In fact I'm pretty sure I've played f2p games that felt more AAA than Titanfall does.
Love gaming at 720p! True next gen! HAHAHA
I can only assume English is not his/her first language. Or maybe their keyboard is broken.
I would say a console is pretty much as Prime said. It has static hardware that won't change throughout its lifespan.
The steam machines, all except the Alienware one, are upgradable. Also owing to their hardware you would most likely quite easily be able to install Windows on them. Which can't be done on consoles. They also use pretty much straight off the shelf PC components. Thus are in most peoples opinions, PC's.
A PC without windows, is still a PC.
And don't forget to add Morganfell, that you can do all this without even having the camera, just a simple headset will do for voice commands.
@Markus, Yeah but they're not really consoles are they. They are most definitely PC's, they just happen to be running Steam OS instead of Windows.
I still have my original Atari 2600. I got it for my 6th Birthday, and it still works, although I am afraid to touch it these days! That's pretty much all I can do to preserve gaming history.
I'm no expert on this so forgive me if I'm wrong, but the PS4 won't be doing much more than it does now, rendering the images.
The actual VR headset itself has all the trick hardware that does all the VR processing.
If not then why the hell is it so hard to create?
The way you are going on it's essentially just a screen inside a headset and it's the computer's own processor doing the leg work, which isn't the case.
MGS. I've just never taken to them at all, tried playing them but they're just not my cup of tea. Tbh I'm not a fan of stealth games full stop so I haven't played, or tried and disliked a lot of popular stealth based games.
I just don't have the patience for them.
Another is Bioshock. Don't know why I didn't like it as I like fps's, and I love the Deco design of the game. I just didn't like it, got distracted by something else half...
I use m&k when playing multiplayer, but I use controller when playing single player. I simply prefer analogue movement over using the keys. But obviously when playing multi you need the faster movement of the mouse aiming to be competitive,
