For me it's the fact the bonuses are exclusive to certain places. I don't want to order from game or gamestation.. both places have the games at the highest possible price. Why should gamers get shafted for looking for a bargain? Not to mention you can order online and get it a day early in most cases.

End of the day I doubt Kotick is really that bothered. He deals in numbers and profit and despite being a HUGE fan of the battlefield series and wishing that it blows MW3 out of the water.. chances are MW3 will sell a LOT more copies than BF3 and that is all Kotick cares about.
This isn't a bad thing however as I'd be distraught if the COD community started turning to battlefield and end up changing my beloved series into a glorified action film.

I'd say the large majority of games are fun games and certainly not interactive art. How many fps/action games do we see each year with nothing more than a few different features which separates them from their competition?

PS3 trolls are the ones wishing it was kinect only. Us xbox users just want a proper new core ip which we all were excited for. I hope it turns out to be a true core exclusive I really do but after what I seen at E3, I'm skeptical. This sort of info should have been told in the conference tbh, they could have saved themselves from the backlash with simple announcements like this.
Explain to me how kinect games work which aren't on rails? Maybe I missed something in my facepalm but you can't actively control the movement of characters using kinect without the use of some form of controller. If microsoft have came up with a way around this, clever them but as it stands I just can't see people having freedom of movement with the whole "you are the controller" gimmick.
Yeah because Kinect games make for fantastic ammunition in a debate concerning winning a conference that is largely designed for core gamers... umm no!
Not to mention they went back and redone some other titles to be move compatible like resident evil 5 and heavy rain. Sony are supporting move in a far more commendable fashion as opposed to Microsoft who look like they've completely lost the plot with kinect support for their core fans.
I'd say the exact opposite.. microsoft played it extremely unsafe by showing so much kinect content and turning what potentially could have been core titles into potential kinect shovelware. Playing it safe would have been to focus on showing core games which would have at least appeased the audience that E3 is aimed at.
I think this will just make hackers more determined to hack the vita. Guess only time will tell if Sony is up to the challenge.

Come on elite is a good thing. The cod sheep will buy into it anyway so why should we all care? All that it will mean is that EA/DICE will be sweating to compete so those of us playing the real fps game of 2011/2012 will get a bunch of new awesome and FREE features.

Being able to use voice commands and speak your dialogue will widen it's appeal? Like how? You either love rpgs or you don't, this is nothing more than a nice feature to give mass effect die hards to buy kinect.
Could it just be because the idea isn't really that good? The fact you can use the controller to play the games on shows that the controller's touchscreen will be nothing more than a gimmick as they won't be able to put gameplay defining things on it. The idea had no appeal to me what so ever.

None of the conferences really impressed me much but Sony was the stand out one if any however I wished they used that 15 minutes or whatever length it was to apologize about the hacking incident, to show more games like Twisted metal.
