PS3 is 6 years old since it hit store shelves, 360 is 7. That means the hardware is even older than that. You'd be happy paying $300 for a WiiU that's only 2x more powerful than current-gen systems?
And don't try to say nintendo is going to take a huge loss and sell the thing for $200 because they can't. If it's more powerful, and uses that gimmick controller, they're going to price it extremely aggressively. I mean, they priced the pathetic 3DS at $25...
How can anyone disagree with that? gamecube had poor 3rd party support because no one bought their games, same with DS, 3DS, N64, and Wii. Why would anyone expect it to be diff for the WiiU?
This guy saying it's a bridge to the next-gen isn't a compliment folks. Let me put it into more literal terms for you. "The WiiU is a good system for right now until we get to the REAL deal next-gen with the next Sony/MS consoles."

Nintendo consoles do not have "tech innovation." They have gimmicks that never pan out the way they hype it up at the outset.
DS - second touch screen? Glorified inventory/map screen.

Exactly. Developers are going to be making games for the next ps/xbox. WiiU is already dead in the water in terms of 3rd party support.

Sure the wii is in more homes than the ps360 but that doesn't mean anything to someone who actually likes to play games instead of whine about things outside of their control on gaming boards.
The wii has the worst game library I've ever seen. If you take out the handful of first party titles, what does it have? Nothing.

Nothing about it is great. It's all hype. The majority of people hyping kid icarus since it was announced haven't even played the NES game.
DE:HR was a mediocre game. The RPG elements were poor and the combat was even worse. Story? I must've missed it because it was a total bore.
I don't see the logic in your argument. Yes if you wait a year there will probably be a cheaper complete edition, but the caveat is, you need to wait a year. It's pretty much standard practice that if you buy something when it's released, you pay the premium price. Obviously as time passes and the value of the product decreases, so to does the price.

While I loved ME2 and am currently enjoying ME3, I can say without a doubt that the actual story element is quite poor in both games. Why? Because there is no story. There's great interactions between characters, and there's an interesting universe that Bioware crafted, but in terms of story and the delivery of it, it's poor.
Without even dumbing it down one bit, the story for ME2 plays out exactly like this:

Yeah, it'd be great to keep taking your eyes off the screen to look down at the controller. Fantastic idea. The screen is going to be a glorified menu screen like the majority of DS and 3DS games. Sure there are a small number of games that made use of it in a useful way but jacking up the cost of the hardware so I have an inventory screen is ridiculous.
