The cell shaded look fits better with the overall light hearted nature of the game.
It doesn't mean anything for the WiiU. I'm really not sure why people are thinking this is some blockbuster coup from Nintendo. Bayonetta sold less than 2 million copies on the PS360 combined with a 100 million console audience. What makes anyone think that this is the game that tips people over the edge into buying a WiiU?
3rd party games have historically done poorly on Nintendo consoles since the N64. Games like No More Heroes and Madworld did pretty poorly on the ...
Because they aren't in the business of giving away news for free. They want you to click through to their site.
Best selling fighting franchise of all time? How can they blatantly lie like that on the box?
Because their feelings were hurt so they're pouting for now. I'm sure it'll be back up again once they calm down.
Kojima said himself that it was a mistake and rest assured it's PS3 exclusive. Check his twitter feed.
I'm not surprised. Konami just announced that MGS:Ground Zeroes is PS3 exclusive so MS is taking down MGS2/3 and PW from Live.
The disfigured man is clearly not a member of XOF as he and his team were pretending to be in order to get that message or tape deck to Chico. If he was a member, why did he remove the logo off of the helicopter and throw away their patches? XOF is likely Zero's faction. The other side of the "Fox" coin if you will.
The disfigured man is Galvez in my opinion.
Which is why Kojima is trolling again. The promo poster for MGS:GZ shows a younger Big Boss, not this old one in the demo. So either that's not chico, or BB isn't going to be that old in the actual game. Chico hasn't aged much but BB is like 60? Does not compute.

Chico's already a sell-out in PW. This is referred to in the demo by that disfigured man.
The translator says it's Chico. He's chico!
It can't be a year or two because BB has aged at least 10-15 years. You can't even say he's going through rapid aging like SS in MGS4.
BB's japanese voice actor didn't change, no reason the north american one would or should.
lol, just admit that the game is dead. How can a game in development off and on for 6 years have nothing to show for it? Not a screenshot, not a trailer, nothing.
MGR is out in Feb IIRC. MGS:GZ is probably end of 2013 or maybe even next-gen. They never explicitly stated it'd be for current consoles.
A sequel doesn't mean it has to have the same characters and follow the same story. You can make another thriller with a totally new cast and unrelated to the first game and call it Heavy Rain 2. Just like all those Bond movies. Or final fantasy games.
That said, I like that they're doing something quite different from HR. Although I'm a little dismayed they didn't follow through with a Kara game.
It'll sell the same as any NT developed game. The DmC license isn't going to help since they're basically not using it all other than including some familiar names.
I preferred the first game over the second.
Honestly I don't want Uncharted 4 as a launch title. I don't want any major franchise at launch because it's a waste. It'd be better if those developers got a game under their belts and released a franchise sequel 2 years in. You know, once they've gotten a better handle on the hardware.
The question is, why would you want to? You're in the house, why would you play it on the gamepad? Don't have access to the tv at the time? Well, then wait. Playing an HD game on that crappy screen is not a viable alternative. If you could take it on the go, that'd be another story, but that's not the case.
