One of the biggest complaints I've been hearing about the PS3 is that the colors are "dull" or "faded". If the actually game comes out looking like these shots they'll no longer be saying that. Those shots were far from dull, as they were the most "vibrant" shots out of any game on any console I've seen to date.
with a decent selection of games out with a great ones coming later on down the road. The 360 has a great selection of games and now is closer to the PS3 technologically. Really the only choice is what exclusives you like better. That's how you make your decision. If you can somehow afford both, then get both.
but they should spend this time working on Square-Enix. They need to keep FFXII an exclusive. More so than that, they need to make sure the remake of FFVII stays exclusive. That game is going to come out sometime or another, and for whatever system its exclusive for will sell by the tons.
I think is funny as hell that by the time I finish reading all the comments I forget what the original post was about.
but when you think about the scope of the game and all the calculations that go into running this small real world, and compared to Saints Row, I think it looks pretty f'n good. I want to hear more about load times and things like a new fighting system.
I thought both took a long time to load. Other games dont take nearly as long for the PS3 or 360. It really depends on the developer.
Only 80 more for a hard drive 6x the size and hdmi output. I'm loving it. The only thing I wish they would have added would be built in wifi, but that's minor for me. I'm glad I put off buying the Premium. Now I'll just wait for the Elite.
I do think the lighting in the PS3 version was better, but both versions are beautifull.
They don't owe you a thing. When you bought the 360 you payed for that machine. Just because they come out releasing a newer one doesn't mean they owe you it. You payed for the Core/Premium 360 and that's what you got. You didn't pay for the Elite. Sell your old 360 when the Elite comes and find a way to transfer your data if you're that upset.
If you hit triangle on the logo it will tell you what it does. "Folding@home connects your PS3 to Stanford University's Folding@home distributed computing network. By connecting to this network, your PS3 supports medical reasearch designed to increase our understanding of the nature of serious diseases." Basically, your lending the computing power of your PS3 to help crunch numbers. Also, while the thing runs if you hit triangle you can check out statistics. Folding@home is bei...
but I think the Folding@home is a really neat idea. I mean it's actually contributing towards a worthwhile cause. It's no reason to go out and buy a PS3 or anything, but I have to give Kudos to Sony and Stanford for doing something for a common good that I haven't seen done before.
because it's probable true, but I can't find any other article on the internet comfirming this. Hell, just yesterday G4 said it was still a rumor. If anyone has found any other websites confirming this news could you please post me a link? Thanks.
but they're doing a big improvement over the original box sales. I'm not saying anything bad about the 360, I just think that when it comes near the end of this generation of console sales Sony and MS will be pretty darn even. Basically, no one is going to win and no one is going to lose.
but you have to admit that Insomniac can make some damn good games. Mind you, RFOM was their first hack at online play and it was pretty good. Them maintaing the updates and listening to their forums show just how dedicated Insomniac is to their products.
the weeks or months Sony spent trying to convince Capcom to stop this, and then to have it not work out for them. I'm surprised because it was one of Sony's big exclusives, but not so much as it came from Capcom. They've really been trying to broaden their influence with western style games and this will bring DMC to a whole new audience. It's a smart move on Capcom's part. Basically I think Capcom is into making their games as available to as many people as possible and still make money....
But I would've made some big rearrangements. I know its based on searches and doesn't mean which game is better but just assuming it wasn't based on searches I would've changed the order up.
Because it is worth it. It would be great if it was free, but it's defiantly worth the 50 a year. The PC Live question is a little tougher though. I don't see too many people taking advantage of it. A majority of PC gamers just play PC games so why would they even bother with having a unified friends list when they dont have a 360 to begin with. But it will appeal to some. Its only a question of how many.
Virtua Fighter 5 was made specifically with home consoles in mind. The arcade versions are the port. Traditionally it was the other way around, but that wasn't the case with 5. Get your facts straight.
Virtua Fighter 5 wasn't made for the arcades. It's not a port. It was developed intentionally for the PS3 and 360.
the title is a little misleading, flame-bait if you will. Secondly, I think this guy makes some good points but the conclusions he draws from them are a little stretched in my opinion. I have to agree with everything he says on voice capabilities. Being able to communicate fluidly with your teamates and competitors is really important and adds to the immersion of the game.
However, I have to object when he says "Halo 3 is the first massive multi-player on-line game for t...
