Changing an environment and the hairstyle and clothes of a character is not enough to change the FEEL of a game. The core mechanics (gameplay, weapons, bullet time) are still there and the gritty story remains. 3 games with the same dark NY setting is imo too many. The series needed to move forward.

Probably just got disagrees cos that would be too much detail for a logo. And what if they stop supporting one of the icons they put in one of the panes?
I don't mind this logo tbh. Nothing really 'bad' about it anyway.
Curious how many companies use those colours though, MS, Google, AVG, Code::Blocks etc. Guess they're just primary colours that look good together.
"Sony makes my world"
Tehehehehe, well you just made my day :) Cheers for the giggle.
That definitely sounds more complex to me :P
How can simplifying QTEs give players more control? Adding control usually means increasing complexity. Seems like a contradiction to me.
Regardless, it's just semantics since the fact sheet was released by Sony what they mean is the "QTEs have been improved /marketing".
Ridiculous aim-assist and a good connection?
Lol that was funny! At least some devs are actually using Move as an alternative control scheme but get ready to be pwned if you're caught using one :P
Just remembered about the CSI effect...

And that is a conscious decision from educated people. How does entertainment influence more easily susceptible people at a subconscious level?
What do people think about this and how entertainment can i...
They dropped the 'h' from Cheetah! Blasphemy! (unless it's in the glare)
Lol, I read teleportation in the title and was like o_O
I would wager that most of the disagree-ers in this discussion would have no problem proclaiming that video games have positively influenced people in some way? Maybe flower has influenced people to care more about the environment for example.
I would also wager that the majority of the disagree-ers in this discussion used to play wrestling after watching the WWF? We broke a bed when we were younger doing that lol.

You're delusional if you think your cultural surroundings don't influence your thoughts and actions. The next time you whistle the end of a companies jingle take a moment to think what else is planted into your mind by outside influences...
I agree with the article.
I would have no use for Vita. It's too big to fit in my pocket so it's not going to be carried around with me all the time. I too would not be interested playing a game like AC for 20 minutes at a time (which I think portable gaming should be - short burst of fun) - most Vita game seem like they would be best for longer play time.
Also the games and memory cards are too expensive for me.
I have a PS3 which provides a ...

That means 80% of the people on this site are looking forward to Wonderbook. And we're supposedly hardcore gamers... which means that percentage is probably higher for the casual gamers. Wow, wonderbook is going to be a massive hit!
Good blog.
I'm not a fan of the response to those who comment "I don't care about x". This is a legitimate comment to make as it just expresses that you're not a fan of the subject and won't be buying it. You're basically expressing your opinion.
The response is usually "well you must care if you bothered to come in here and comment". But it is possible to care about the discussion of a subject but not the subject itse...
You're blood pressure must go through the roof whenever you see a PS All Stars or Assassins Creed 3 article on the front page :P
It's funny when people state an opinion and get disagreed with and then go off their head thinking people won't let them have an opinion lolz.
But phantom disagrees when evidence and reason are used are soooo annoying. I was on n4g's footie sister site 11x2 discussing an offside decision. I quoted from wikipedia (lol maybe not the best but it wasn't an academic comment :P), pointed out the time in the video where a helpful white line across the pitch was shown...
I'm gonna to have to start put disclaimers before my comments - "The following comment is rated S for shit joke"
Just started watching.... Wonderbook... Just stopped watching...
I completely agree with you. Not being able to hit people off stages is a big let down. For me, enough to make me wait a long time till the price is down.
One of the main reasons that I enjoyed SSB was being able to fall off stages. The yelps and squeals from a friend as he tries to get their fighter back on the stage is priceless. This game will be missing that urgency since falling off stages seems to have no repercussions (correct me if I'm wrong?).
An...
