Some of the American fans were awful. Booing European players teeing off and same for brilliant shots. Booing European players for getting birdies and not even appreciating the great golf... Fair enough they want to win but you gotta respect your opposition.
As for footie games, I haven't bought one since PES4 so it's about time I got one! Good fun with mates but I hate buying yearly games. £40 and its obsolete in 6 months :(

You're probably aware that there is that 'pro' controller that's like the xbox pad.
Apparently most folk say the screen pad is surprisingly comfy aswell, never used it myself and I thought the same before I read some peoples experience.

That reason for not having multiple protagonists is silly: "What if I am forced to play with the protagonist that I hate for long periods of time."
Well what if there's only one character that you absolutely hate...then you're scuppered and can't play any of the game (imagine you only had Jack Marston in Red Dead!). Having multiple characters actually increases the chances of playing with a character you love...and the story can be over 20 hours which is...
Oh yeh, it's definitely a solitary device but for singleplayer gaming it would be incredible...only problem there is the price. I would love to see something like this on a console at an affordable price...very unlikely unfortunately.
Definitely for splitscreen which I hope makes a resurgence next gen but for singleplayer and online social gaming this would be pretty cool.
Agree, loved recruiting members to research new weapons and items and all the rest. Maybe leave out the turn-based combat stuff or give the player more control like a fully fledged turn-based RPG (was pretty annoying seeing an enemy with 1hp still kicking about with none of your team attacking it leaving ZEKE to waste a turn).

I've just finished playing through the series in chronological order and I think it looks pretty metal gear...the bosses, enemies, big metal gear at the end of that trailer :P
I think it's a joint venture with kojima productions doing the story and platinum games the gameplay ( correct me if I'm wrong ). So if that's the case it definitely is canon. Just not solid snake canon.

I keep getting more excited with every new piece of info I see. That new Japanese trailer looks brilliant and seems to have that metal gear feel to it. Love the look of the enemies.
Not the biggest hack n slash fan but this game looks to be pretty unique with the cutting mechanic. Can't wait to circumcise some baddies!
Hopefully the online retailers can get the price down to about £150 for the 12GB and under 200 for the 500GB. Not that I have any intention of buying it, more as a fail safe if my 40GB chunker bites the dust.

Man, too much story in multiplayer and DLC in Assassins Creed. I think I'm done with it now, it has a cool overarching story but too much fleecing to actually see it all e.g. Ezio's death being in a £7 short, brotherhood and revelations and their respective dlc.
Yeh I think I'm done with the series now. Fun games but they've run their course with me.
