Well I've never played a game like this, not really the "Rocker" type, ya know?....but I'm just wondering do you actually have to know how to play guitar a little to be any good at this game?
but I think the bottom line is that Sony will be "adding" Xfire to whatever their existing online will be....and SOMEBODY is going to pay for it, at this point it seems that Sony must have paid some type of lincensing fee and the gamers don't have to pay anything...so thats a good thing.
DJ, actually I'm not fustrated at all because I appreciate a good civil discussion, and I only attempt to debate issues with a those who actually put some effort in to making a valid point....although I believe most of what you are saying is only wishful thinking on your part.

First off comparing the situation now to when Sony used DVD's in the PS2, is misleading because DVD's had already been accepted by consumers as the new standard for movie playback, and it was a "vast" improvement over VHS, there was NO "legitimate" competitor either....consumers accepted DVD as the next standard even before PS2 was released.....standalone players sales were already doing well....so that comparison is waaaaaaay off by any stretch of the imagination compared...
Wasn't this about the 360 HD DVD "MOVIE" player? I think this HD DVD player is a good "add-on" if you want to get into HD movies....I just think its funny that DJ always has a negative comment about anything 360 related, and I know the same goes for SOME 360 fanboys but don't complain so much when you are just as guilty with comments like this:

I have to agree with everything you said, I don't think this game shows 360 is superior or any of that nonsense.....PS3 will definitely have great games, but it did remind me of something that has been mentioned from time to time, and even prior to the launch of the 360, which is that its ease of development would in FACT cause alot of dev's to make games on the 360 first and then port them to the PS3 in an effort to cut development costs. This is why polls can't be trusted....I have a hectic work schedule, so I don't get to play online alot....but when I do its rare to play with females....and from what I hear from everyone I know, that seems to be the norm. Yeah if they are counting women who play "puzzle games" on Yahoo, then I'm sure it would inflate the numbers....but as far as console gamers go....its not even close, maybe 5-6% max.

From what I have just seen and read about this game...I can't think of anything I want to play less than this game. I mean don't get me wrong graphically it looks fine, but its just not exciting gameplay for me, not my style......and the fact that this is the 3rd most anticipated game for Japanese developers, beating games like Heavenly Sword, GT HD, Lair, RFOM says alot about what games they like.
Yes I did say that Japanese culture is weird based on my own preferences, but I think its misleading to say that its all about Japanese girls getting raped, yes there is alot of anime like that but I don't think most of the anime is like that....and I know that the games are not like that....yes there are Japanese girl anime charachters in them with "skimpy" outfits but its not sexually explicit. All I'm saying is there is a definite cultural difference when it comes to videogames....
