accessibility and mobility are NOT hardcore requirements. Movies are NOT songs. The MP3 industry is booming yet the CD still has not died. It's much easier to download/store/and move music around than it is movies today. It's going to be like that for a while too. People don't even have the storage capacity , let alone storage capacity the size of an iPod.
Physical media will be much less important one day but, that day is not close. As I've said ... the CD still hasn't died yet...
They're out of their minds. DD is more than 12-18 months off. Furthermore, if the 360 was the best console for DD then, they would have had an HDD come STANDARD and not cost stupid amounts of money for a rather piddly upgrade.

If I remember correctly, most games last gen started out on CD and then went to DVD. I have a feeling it will be so this gen as well. It's obvious that, games can be done without BD and still be good. They can even have great content like ME and Oblivion.
Still ... not having BD in the console is a limitation that can't be switched in the middle of the gen. If games do start needing more space and content on a regular basis, then a dispar...
who unwinds on the weekend comes to these sites? Not many of them. I'm sure the average person reading an online review of a game is a little more then just "casual." I don't even get to play much like I used to and I still don't want to play garbage.

Casual games still get good scores. The ones that do are well done.
why Wii games get high scores then? I know there's plenty of garbage on the Wii but, a lot of first party games appeal to a casual audience and get rated very well. SSBB anyone? Even games like Ratchet and Clank scored well. Just because a game is supposed to appeal to casual gamers doesn't mean the developer can slack on making a quality/bug free title.

is claiming supply constraints for Jan/Feb. They did so a while ago to help "explain" why they are loosing in NA to the PS3. Didn't they also just say that these "constraints" could last into March as well? I know VG chats is only guesswork but, I didn't see any turnaround this last week did you?

I always pegged gears to be a better campaign then multiplayer.I thought most people felt this way. Either way ... RFOM2 should provide some nice competition with it's 8 person co-op and 60 player online modes. Classes, vehicles have all been added.
Firstly ... it's a free service. Secondly, if they're using resources that would usually go towards the store for things like HOME, then fantastic. Lastly ... this is 10x better then what we were seeing last year at this time. A demo, themes and other stuff makes this kick ass.

enough to willingly give up any chance at having Bioshock 2 come to the PS3. I hope the shareholders don't do this. I would hate to see T2 get swallowed up by whats becoming the WALMART of gaming.
I would hope MS has more games out for their system. It's not like I'm not giving MS credit. There are some seriously good games out for the 360.
This attitude where the PS3 isn't worth buying due to lack of games is growing tiresome though. I say SOON because, it's actually happening soon. We know XMB by summer. We know Home by summer. We know rumble in like a month. I know myself, and every other PS fan, is going to want MGS4, GT5 and GTA. That doesn't even touch games like FFX...
You keep holding onto that "maybe, Maybe not" thing you have there. It's all you MS fans have now. Soon there will be home and ingame xmb. Soon there will be rumble. Soon there will be an onslaught of great titles, most of them classic PS3 sequals and some new IP's.
Douche is right ... all consoles have good games out RIGHT NOW. MS might has a little more now but, live it up while that lasts.
