what?
Until a woman looks at me and thinks "man what a freaky pervert" for playing video games, I don't think this is the case.
Either way ... screw the social acceptance bullsh1t. I'll gladly stand up and tell anyone that I not only watch porn, I play video games, I like star wars and I think Elfs are cool in LoTR.
NO. Just because Sony is getting their feet wet with Digital Distribution, doesn't mean that physical media is about to be replaced. Why would a company shoot themselves in the foot like that?
Digital distribution is going to be awesome but it's not going to happen for some years. Even when it does become more prevalent, it's still going to be even longer before physical media gets whipped out. The CD is still alive and so is the DVD. Both are easier to download and store then HD...
I, like you, feel as though it will sell on the 360 more in the US. The 360 does have a larger install base over here. It would make sense. Europe seems to be a little different. Do you think Europe has a chance to balance out the sales?
that interest me. If they pull these off well and get some good reviews, then I'll do the same. I'll rent and buy if I like.
but he does have some valid points. He even listed great FPS for the PS3 in his reasoning. The reason I am interested in this titles lies with the storyline and the co-op. I'm hoping something sets this game apart from the pack. If it doesn't then, it's just another run of the mil shooter. The only reason I would want this over GTA4 is, I don't really like the GTA series all too much. I get bored with them fast as I feel the missions are repetitive.
The nectar sounds like it coul...
isn't boring, it's just a pain in the ass. The network issues and lack of support from IW is depressing.
then my initial reactions to the game. The delays didn't help though. I don't know who said it, it could have been Edge I don't remember, but they said that Haze dared to treat us like adults. I'm curious to see impressions of the story and gameplay. I'm much more curious about this title then I used to be though.
I've heard mixed things as far as the graphics are concerned. Still ... the story line seem appealing. The co-op sounds great too. If this scores well and I like the Demo, I'll be getting this over GTA4.
infact, most games have some repetitive aspects to them. NG is going to be kick ass. It's going to be bloody and it's going to be tough.
If this game get some good scores and surprises me, I'll pick it up instead of GTA4 (never really liked the series) and play that until MGS4.
looks cool as hell. Kinda makes me want a 360. The PS3 is really lacking in the RPG department.
I got to kill little animals and eat them.
were easily my two favorite games when I was young at school. Apple 2E FTW!
???? Sounds like a bunch of hype to me.
class acts. Hopefully other developers follow suit. Working together would only make the games we play that much better. They announced this during the developers conference this year. Easily one of my favorite devs.
for sure funny to watch. I can't decide what's funnier. The companies and their PR tactics, the articles igniting the fanboyism or, the fanboys themselves.
They're offering a bundle in Europe. It's assumed that a similar bundle will be offered in the states but nothing has been confirmed yet. I agree with you though. They should do this. If they don't, I feel as though they are passing up on a good opportunity.
Camping is lame.
I know it's all personal preference but, I like the killcams. I tend to think camping is cheap. Zoning BTW is much different then camping.
I guess we'll find out in a couple of days.
5 or so movies on a flash drive and take those with me to friends houses and such, then I'll go full DD. Until then, a stationary HD doesn't give me the freedom that physical media does. What if I want to let someone borrow a movie? What if I want to watch it at a friends house? It's not like standard HD's are even really set up for this. If a movie is 9gig and up, a collection of 100 movies is going to really put a squeeze on people. I already own almost 25 BD movies and I'm sure some people...
