Online co-op would be very cool. Favorite part of R2 online.
Pure co-op missions like R2 or since they have the very cool squad setup, something were you were competing for best squad(best k/d ratio,least deaths,most efficient) would be cool.
Regardless, Killzone 2 has turned out to be the greatest fps I've ever played. Just more maps and some more unlocks and I'll be content.
Back just before and shortly after the launch of the PS2 I remember being in gaming forums thinking how I would love to have news articles from far in the PS2's future to post like this one.
Back then:
* Dreamcast was 'easy to program' and the PS2 was 'hard teh program'
* Dreamcast fans always had quotes from PC developers crying about the PS2
* Dreamcast fans' rallying cry was such and such game 'looks...
"The PlayStation instead went for an "exotic" architecture with CELL"
PS3, exotic???
The PS3 is almost identical to the world's highest selling console ever made, the PS2. The console every single console developer in the world is intimately familiar with.

PS2 -> PS3
Emotion Engine -> Cell
Emotion Engine core -> PPU
VUs -> SPUs
GS -> RSX
Main game code is run on the EE core(PS2)/PPU(PS3)
Heavy floating point tasks are spawned off to VUs(PS2...
To put into perspective just how massive the graphical power advantage the PS3 has over the 360 one just has to look at last gen.
Around this time the PS2, GameCube, and Xbox were all putting out games that were unmatched on the other systems due to all three consoles being stronger than the other in some areas:
* The PS2 had its insane GS EDRAM bandwidth and massive floating point powerhouse VUs putting out games like ICO, Shadow of the Colossus, Gran Turismo, and o...
Playstation fans have been falling over each other now for two years pretending the PS3 and 360 are in some sort of cartoon race with each one dramatically inching slightly forward from each other so no one would ever call them 'biased'.
Those days are over.
It isn't even possible for the 360 to run Killzone 2 no matter how much time and effort was put into someone trying to do so.
You don't think people would let Sony come out with a FPS that is this good? The hate and fear over this game is beyond any other game ever created. Xbox fans in the media have spent three years trying to come up with bullet points to ensure that Killzone 2 got 6 and 7/10 review scores. All that effort failed.
This is from the UK, so it would be Chart Track that would have the sales numbers.
NPD will only have a day or two of sales for the US when it comes out in two weeks. We won't have an official number for the US until second week of April when the game has had a full month of sales unless Sony makes a statement themselves.
Unfortunately we will most likely get the standard fabricated vgchartz numbers screaming flop while everyone waits for real numbers.
