besides, gt5 has always been about the cars, thus making your comment 100% irrelevant. its like walking into a candi shop and saying the sushi you had tasted far more natural when really the sweet shop is all about sweets not raw fish.
yes, the grass isnt brilliant, but we dont drive the grass or drool over the road, its the cars we drive in gt5 and the cars we perv on.

for a console game, this is the best we will get. the pc is a totally differnt matter.
i was going to wait and not buy it until next year since i am moving house but this morning whilst i was having my coffee at work i watched a guy unbox the signature edition.
the next 10 mins i spent to GAME on the phone who told me there was one copy left in gamestation in leicester and all the rest were sold. I begged them to reserve it and 30mins later i ledt gamestation feeling like i had won the lottery :)
they shud get kaz on the show and make him do a lap and then get stig to do a lap on the gt5 tg test track :p

agree with you, but how does it stand against its competition which will probably get higher score average on metacritic is the key question.
if you believe it is better and offers more quality, than my point above stands.
I have played forza 3 (no longer own it) and from having played gt5 through various stages and in 3D, it looked and performed better than forza in everyway shape and form and we all know it offers far more for car enthusiasts than all forza...
So a game that has:
1) more cars than any game which rivals it
2) better graphics than any game which rivals it
3) better career mde than any game which rivals it
4) better sound than any game which rivals it
5) more variety than any game which rivals it
6) more new features than any game which rivals it - dynamic weather, dynamic car damage, 24 our races, fleshed out bspec mode, kart racing nascar and rally all in one, track editor and...
its not just the girls that should show their support though, its the boys too. as gamers or nerds (whichever you want to call it) - we shouldnt discriminate. if you are a gamer or a nerd, you can be male or female. bullies dont see the difference and nor shud we!

imagine gta minus all the crap, with much better graphics, a badass fighting engine, tokyo underworld and yakuza's to cross swords with, with possibly some of the best story and dialogue you will come across in a video game of this genre - sandbox kickass.

funy u say that. my nephew got a kinnect as a present fron his dad and the most fun he had was saying "kinnect on, kinnect off. kinnec on, kinnect off."
after giving it a go for like 30mins, he switched it off and went back to cod - not that cod is any better since i blacklist anything from activision, but still, the point is, for a 12yr old, the novelty wore off that quick!

truth is and this is what shareholders will be looking at-
windows and the MS office fund everything. the shareholders are not interested in how well a product may do when they have a sure thing which makes them millions upon millions.
so far, they have seen MS lose around 5billion on the xbox, further 3billion plus on the 360 and god knows how much on Kinect not including the marketing cost of half a billion.

MS wont be able to make PGR the way Bizarre made it unless they get Bizarre to make it for them. I think MS knew this was going to happen - hence the reason they were looking for a new studio to make the next PGR :s
We may not get another PGR, but there is no reason why Bizarre cant create a new metropolis street racer and release it! Lets hope EA or someone buys them out. The only thing Activision seem interested in is COD, COD and more COD.
Maybe they meant no immidiate plans for a future successor to the 360. I dont think they will drop out all together like the Dreamcast did unless they are forced by investors.
I think MS are bringing hardcore gaming back to the PC and casual to the xbox brand with maybe the odd good game. all the signs point in that direction imo.

either way u put it. if you have played the game etc, you know the reviewers are being unfair towards the game. the kind of things they have marked the game down for in some sites is just rediculous.
there is some clear biase towards the game for whatever reason i or anyone else cannot be sure off. however, i do no think this will stop anyone buying the game.
