When this game was about to be released, I remember thinking, "damn, KZ3, Bulletstorm, Brink or Crysis2?"
I remember it was like a fps avalanche and I couldn't afford to buy all 3. I played the demo and for me, KZ3 played the best, Brink I wasn't interested in since its main focus was online and even then it sounded pretty much like KZ3's online operations mode.

I can imagine the central game being released on consoles with side versions on fones and social networking sites being part of the games eco system similar to how EVE online has now got another element of its universe being launched on the PS3... although this is hopeful thinking!
i agree. if you look at any tech demo for a new graphics chip, engine or console, you will see a lot which will never be seen or acomplished and if it does, it is at the very end of the console cycle.
As for foilage, I can think of a few games that have done a pretty decent job - UC series, JC, LP2. Maybe some of them are not as good as what they have shown on the pic, but it they have been realised and and shown more than a still picture.

Yes they are. Uncharted is 3rd person over the shoulder shooter with platforming and puzzles with a heavy storyline and packaged all together as a summer blockbuster cinematic experience.
GeoW3 on the other hand is a over the shoulder 3rd person cover based shooter.

I loved it. it was like the old skool sonic but faster with a graphical revamp. boy that greenhill zone stage music brought back some memories.
I dont get the author who says sonic seems slower. I for one thought he felt a lot faster than before.
My only concern was the controls. something about the jump felt off, but even with that, I had an absolute blast playing the demo!

I would say he is amongst the best Mascots out there, but I think what takes him above and beyond MArio is, regardless of how crap his recent games have been, Sonic has always had support and a strong following.
