PS Vita is a nice machine but the lack of bumpers and triggers in my opinion is what killed it. Along with Sony not having handheld friendly IP compared to console IP. I think it would be a mistake for Sony to consider making a new handheld right now.

All I am saying is with regards to the Scorpio, lets take a wait and see approach. MS has already messed up when it comes to exclusives for Xbox One, they already have gave Sony and Nintendo the momentum, I dont think they can counter that right now, which is why they are waiting to make a big splash for Scorpio. Nintendo fans are as bad as Apple fans, no matter what crap these companies release its the best thing ever. The switch has some glaring issues, like it or not. Im glad to nopt have got one, ill wait for that inevitable redesign or new model.

Nintendo knows how to make great games, but hardware wise they lost me as a customer quite awhile back. I miss the old NES/SNES/N64 Nintendo, never was a fan of the Gamecube/Wii/Wii-u Nintendo, the Switch isnt doing anything to counter that.
No way will the PS5 be released in 2018, they think this because of the release of the Scorpio. I am willing to bet there will not be a PS5 until at least 2020. If the PS4 continues it's sales momentum and Scorpio doesnt affect it, then its going to be at least 3 years.
Microsoft are idiots when it comes to respecting their Franchises (except cash cow-Halo). They have let Crimson Skies, MechWarrior, MechAssault, Fable, perfect Dark, Viva Pinata and every Rare franchise, and Blood Wake go by the wayside just to name a few. They bring back remastered games like Voodoo Vince, but ignore the above.
Fable is one of the main reasons I loved my original Xbox and Xbox 360, They should have released a Fable 4...
i calling 2020 at the earliest unless the PS Pro and PS4 suddenly get destroyed in sales by Scorpio, and i dont see that happening.
Silent Hills is the worst for me, was really excited about that game.

I agree memory cards helped as well, but the reason the 3DS wasnt affected by not having bumpers and triggers was because of the handheld friendly IP. Everyone knows Mario, Zelda, and those type of games dont need standard controller. Sony's IP coming from console is a foreign experience playing without them.
