MS is going to drop being hardware exclusive, they are going publisher and subscription. You will be able to buy a Xbox, but you will be able to play on any platform, that's their new goal. After the hit with Oblivion remastered and major sales on PS5, no more Xbox/PC exclusives long term..
Im not buying many games at that price. I bought Oblivion remastered as a impulse buy at 49.99, wont be buying impulse games at 80.
Cybermage: Darklight awakening
Borderlands 2/3 are my adhd games of choice.
Better yet, Id now has access to Heretic/Hexen, bring that back please!!
it worked so well with MS that they so wanted to be away from them they bought the company back. Only to do it again with activision-blizzard, and then sold to Sony...Sony shouldn't have bought them...Bungie hasnt been the same for a long time..
This studio has had three owners and its never worked well with any of them....Management has issues
The first Xbox had a built in HD, LAN, and was amazing for its time. Didnt sell well, it got followed up by the amazing Xbox 360 which came out before Sony's PS3. Seems MS is going to try releasing before Sony again with a very powerful box. I bet its going to bet heavy on AI....
Lets hope no hardware issues like last time.
Heretic is the number one game I'd love a reboot of, less Hexen more Hereitc though, more fast pace with lots of weapons. Love a reboot/remaster of Heretic 2, thats a game you cant find these days in a store
I love Chilvary 2 from time to time, but not into many multiplayer games these days, and love playing games like Skyrim, Cyberpunk 2077, The Witcher, and Baldur's Gate 3.
no question, it was PS1/Saturn being the consoles at the time and then the 3DFX Voodoo1 dropped. There was nothing console wise that could compare to Quake running at 640x480 fast framerate and looked beautiful.
ps4 wasnt unnecessary, 4k gaming and major benefits for psvr. the ps5 pro though, unless you have 120FPS TV, not yet sure of its benefits.
The man turned Activision into a land of only a few IP when they had a ton to utilize, like EA has done as well. COD all the time, but ignored other older IP that had a chance for some success, purely profit driven. My hope, is that Spencer will make sure their will finally be a new Heretic/Hexen. Also, Interstate 76, Prototype, Caesar, Truecrime could be borought back, maybe even remaster/remake licenced ip like Battlezone 98/Heavy Gear/Mechwarrior II.
I can see the point here. I played through all the DLC and main game for Dragon Age: Inquisition, and it was a long grind, but i was determined to see it though because i enjoyed the stories of that world. Then I played The Witcher 3 and all it's DLC and that game was amazing and really showed how bad Inquisition was in comparison. Inquisition couldnt hold a candle to Origins, and though it was far more limited, enjoyed Dragon Age II and its DLC more than Inquisition. Even though I had to...
I paid under 20 for diablo 4, not paying twice that+ for dlc....
Im a premium subscriber but come next summer, i need to see more value or im dropping to extra or lower, unless there is a great summer of play deal...
I agree, we need a spiderman/ratchet vr title. Id love a vr port of ratchet, need more 3rd person platformers on psvr2.
Phil wore a Hexen t-shirt in the xbox games showcase, he personally wants the series to make a return. its going to happen.
Love to see Prototype, Heavy Gear, BattleZone 98 make a return, but id love to see Heretic make a return the most..
Well, i bet your very popular on bluesky with that attitude. Black samurai in a fictional game set in a futuristic Japan would be cool. Selling fake fan fiction as historical truth is not cool.
