Sweet, might get a switch after all
Yeah that worked out well for them. MS always seems to make bad decisions on games, they need a pool of regular gamers to give advice it seems, couldnt be any worse.
Of course its going to have Backward Compatibility, with the Kuturagi mindset of developing specialized hardware gone and the Mark Cerny mindset of using whats available already, its a no brainer for it to have the AMD APU again, though it may be more specialized this time. I hope they wait till at least 2020, I dont need another console till then, and I hope they make it a powerful box and dont skimp on specs. By 2020, we should be able to have 4k 60fps APU's. I imagine it will be PSVR ...
Looks good, just finishing my PS4 playthough of Bioshock: Infinite Burial at Sea pt 2, already finished All three Bioshock games and this is last to do. Makes me sad that they never released a new Bioshock game, what a waste dissolving Irrational was.
I only watched for Morgan Webb :)
Switch has a Tegra X1, the same as the Nvidia Shield Android TV, but underclocked from 1.9GHZ to 1.02 GHZ for CPU, and from 1GHZ down to as low as 307 MHZ. Its a 2015 era CPU/GPU severely performance gimped, like 1 GF down to .3 GF compared to the Shield Android TV. Nvidia has since released the Tegra X2 and has another Soc called Xavier coming if not already out. Nintendo does what Nintendo always does, go for the cheap performance!
I tell you though, Nintendo really needs...
I want a Jumping Flash with VR mode reboot. I love that game, would be amazing.
The Bunker - easiest Platinum ever.
You sold it before you got to try Far Point, that games amazing with the aim controller. RE7 is great, but I also enjoyed here they lie as much. VR is amazing and yes PSVR is fantastic, but it doesnt stop me from playing regular games on TV, its a different way to play not a replacement.
Im no fanboy, I love it because it wowed me, and I was skeptical about VR from the beginning. Maybe VR is jsut not for you.
You cannot compare GearVR to PSVR, trust me. Mobile VR sucks right now, its very limited and not near as good as a dedicated VR device.
You can play the relaxed way in PSVR, it just depends on the game. Most games play like that, sitting in your chair, relaxed, looking around only as needed. Some demand constant scanning of your surroundings, most dont. PSVR is actually better for that than PC VR because Sony uses the Camera which sits in front of you, while the PC VR has ...
The Vita was a handheld console, and Sony's titles were TV console games and not near as friendly to handhelds as its biggest competitor, Nintendo. It was expensive compared to the competition and didn't have the amount of games. It did launch with more hardware available, and as a console launch, had some bigger titles available near the launch window.
PSVR is a very expensive addon, requiring the main console to play, and expensive accessories rarely do well. Yet ...
DA: I is much better than ME:A, but DA: I cannot compare to DA:O and I even like DA:2 better than DA:I.
ME:A is just a massive disappointment.
To quote Cartman, This article is Hella lame!
The Article states that OMG, the PSVR hasnt had a single game that sold over one million units! Well counting that the PSVR is just hitting One million plus, its hard to imagine one tilte selling for each and every PSVR as we all have different tastes. Unlike the Vita, the hardware shortage on the PSVR stopped Marketing and sales from going higher. The Aim controller has done so well its hard to get one (Glad I per-ordered), thi...
I would love a new KOTOR and a new Jade Empire, but the last two Bioware games have left me unimpressed due to how great the games were that came before. Bioware is off my must buy list, currently on the wait for a discount list.
I hope it does indeed come to PSVR, it seems logical for it to do so, though performance is a concern.
Why hasnt there been a RPG like South Park's Stick of Truth for Futurama? It would be an amazing game if done right. Id Love a Futurama VR game.
I want it to come to PS4, id buy it. I loved that game, have it on the vita.
Dead Space VR please
Glad to see someone else gets it, the limited amount of VR owners means to get any money back out of this they need to sell it at a higher price. What many people arent seeming to get is that they NEED to pay full price for Skyrim VR, Fallout 4 VR, and DOOM VFR because that will encourage Bethesda to release their future games in VR from the start. If they see that its worth the investment, they will make it. Morrowind was their first console RPG and Pete Hines at the time thought it was a wa...
Wow, The Xbox One S already runs some games in 4k, how awesome is that! I bet those Xbox One S owners are happy to hear that, probably thinking they would need to spend $500 to get that 4K awesomeness.
(Seriously,,,,,,Did this guy do any research before he wrote this article?)
