I think you underestimate the time and cost of making the game really work in VR, not just a quick stereoscopic port.
They know its going to be worth it as there isnt anything like this in VR currently, no AAA massive length open world games. Think of the dev time it takes and how much that is, the limited amount of customers that will actually buy a VR game, and you see why they charge the price they do. The fact it wont have the DLC though is not cool, I hope they later bring that...
I agree! Wish they would also remaster Oblvion and bring it to VR. Activision should remaster Heretic! Starbreeze should remaster the Darkness for PC and bring it to VR. Square-Enix should remaster Deus ex games and Thief games for VR.
FarCry and Crysis would be great for VR.
Xbox One X is just a stupid name as Xbox One was a stupid name. I think MS would have been better off calling it Xbox One Scorpio but they already used the Xbox One S moniker. Xbox Pro or Xbox One Pro would have been better too.
With no Fable 4, No Crimson skies-Mechwarrior-FASA games, no Rare classic franchises like Perfect Dark, Banjo, Conker, Viva Pinata, GoldenEye (a spiritual successor would have been required), No Halo for Xbox One X graphical showcase, it was left u...
I would have rather had P.T - Silent Hills - than Death Stranding, stupid Konami!.
Xbox One will be the starting point with an ultra mode for Xbox One X and a High setting point for PS Pro. What devs might do for development time and saving money, is to just have a high mode for both Xbox One X and PS Pro with Xbox One X having better antilasing, downsampling, and setting based upgrades rather than true graphical upgrade changes.
I hope it comes to PSVR
So far the only thing I have seen thats controversial regarding Farcry 5 is the SJW types making it a big deal about it being white religious people as the enemy. As wacky cults exist and can be dangerous, this isnt that controversial. It seems that its being politicized but its not the developer or publisher doing it, more the previewers and article writers spouting baloney.
Add PSVR games, take the Vita games off or leave them on (and I own a vita)
I loved Borderlands 2 and the pre-sequel was fun though much shorter lived than B2. I cannot wait for B3 but Im worried that it wont be as good without Anthony.
Bethesda is my last remaining developer who I will buy via pre-order at launch, and I treat their game releases as a gaming holiday, so when a writer says for them to stop making the games I love them for, the writer needs to shut up.
I want big open world games from Bethesda, this is why I love them!
I want backwards compatibility, I'll definitely use it for PS5 if available. It just makes things easier, being able to utilize your older library, and I like to revisit older games as time goes by, and you cant always depend on having an old console laying around that works and hooked up ready to go. It makes a difference at the beginning of a new gen when there is little to actually play on the console. I would imagine having backwards compatibility for the PS5 will be easy, where the P...
For such an expensive addon, thats fantastic. Its something everyone should try, even non gamers have enjoyed games on it.
Thats what I have been saying all along. Sony will drop the price if the scorpio is $399, if its $499 maybe a drop to $375 to $350
2019 at the earliest, but i say 2020.
PSVR is amazing, certainly not a mistake, its one o the best reasons to own a PS4.
Fallout 4 VR on PSVR would make me so happy, that would be the announcement i would want most..
Can you imagine the fun we would have if the Aliens in ME were real, all whining about their races not getting enough characters, screen time,, while white human males get all the attention.
Andromeda was abysmal, Dragon Age was lacking compared to origins.
Thats what I figured.
I bet it will eventually, especially if Skyrim VR and Doom VFR takes off sales wise. If they both sell poorly or average then maybe not.
