Which is in fact great but very very expensive.

This paragraph is priceless.

"I thought Project Natal might be good for reading big body movements but not for finer finger movements."

"Theoretically, I got that wrong too, Tsunoda told me, though he didn't have a way to prove it to me there. The stick-figure skeletons that Natal recognize us as did not have fingers. Each one had a short stick for each hand. I saw no fingers, so I assumed it could not see my fingers. There seemed to be no way for Nata...

That video I provided is 5 years old. Natal was not even in the back of Peter Moores mind when this video was made. The guy is very camera shy though I admit but because he is a very anxious guy.

EDIT: Sorry, misread your comment. I guess being up for 22 hours straight can impair judgement.

And it functions in the exact same manner as the Natal in scanning. Unfortunately, Sony patented the control scheme with button input which left Microsoft in position to practically gimp Natal out of an actual controller combo without incurring a lawsuit.

Was the Nintendo E3 press conference too much so you had to buy a Wii?

LOL I would have sold a Wii after that conference.

To be better on the PS3 with its controllers (PSEye Motion and DS3). Because we all know how hardcore games fare on the Wii.

Why would we want every UMD game as DD, some of those games are god awful.

To have to keep running to my garage to get a new controller every time I want to play a different game with Natal. Awesome. And hey at least I'll get more exercise than on a Wii Fit. /sarcasm

Apparently when Sony introduces a Camera that senses depth and functions in all light situations 2 years ago its considered a rehash of the EyeToy yet Natal is something revolutionary yet does the exact same thing.

Gotta love them 360 fanboy double standards.

To the disagree try explaining the old GDC 2008 tech demo video

The fact is that Nintendo did not at all tell the consumer their product works or not. They just showed scripted videos and wowed everyone by how impossibly simple the videos made everything. But the reality was that it took Nintendo 3 years after the release of the Wii to make something that supposedly works with 1:1 motion. Yet it still does not work with games like Red Steel 2.

Fact is that the core audience did try it and found out the hard way the Wii is broken in execution....

They sold you at 2005 on an idea. Not the successful execution of said idea. Again the Wii back in 2005 and after was nothing but hype and marketing, no substance. THAT is why core gamers rejected the console because they in fact did try it out but it did not perform to the "promise" of true motion capability.

Microsoft stole the show and won E3. Even though I would not buy a 360 because of the entire nickle and dime scheme of Xbox 360, Live, Xbox 360 exclusive accessories, and the fact that RROD has yet to be resolved, I am very jealous of some of the games microsoft announced. Now if only they can fix the 360 so I can play those games.

Fact is that this is a Sony influenced website. As much as I would like to believe Kojima did not want to do this, unless I hear it from another unbiased source of news, I am forced to be entirely skeptical with this information.

I was going to go but damn things always happen to get in the way. Now I got to sit behind my monitor the rest of E3.
