The Outfit -Meh, this was an OK little game if you accept really old school spam bullets, but I think it was probably rightfully overlooked.
Crackdown - This was overlooked? Isnt a sequel coming? I loved this game.
Overlord - Yes this was sadly and unjustly overlooked. But I think the PS3 is getting a version so maybe that bodes well for future games along these lines. It was a great game.

Wow, I like that character creation video. I would be nice to be able to make as many changes to your character as you were able to make to your car in Forza. Not that I would be covered with Tats but it would be nice if I wanted to be. I also like that you can make the hair longer or shorter. Hair has always been an issue for character creation IMHO. You are normally left with a small selection and its not done that well.

Loved this game. I agree it could use a longer campaign but the advantage to having a short but sweet one like they had is it allowed me to play it on all difficulty levels rather quickly and I wouldn't balk about walking a friend through it on co-op because I know it wont take forever. Still a few more hours would have been nice.

There better be a whole heck of a lot more to do after you finish this game then there was to do after Fable 1. I mean I am OK with a bit of domestication as long as I can go out and take out bandits and do quest once in a while. If all I am going to do is play minigames and family then I will quickly move onto other games.
I want to know if you can shoot your co-op partner if they do stuff like mess up your world by killing your family or something.
Otherwise looks really cool. And it sounds like its going to have a nice soundtrack and nice environmentals like the last one. Dam him for not giving a release date. A friend of mine insist this will be pushed back till next year. I dont want it to be next year :(.
I have really been looking forward to this game. I like the concept and hope the gameplay lives up to expectations.
That being said, this whole "no loading" screen has been said before and has yet to ever hold true. If nothing else those cutscenes they are seeing are probably load screens. Which means the cutscenes can't be skipped, which means they better not be annoying (like a few of the COD3 ones) or I will end up being even more aggravated then if there were ...
Starting to look like Lost Planet with the reviews being all over the place from high 9's to low 6's. I guess its the type of game you either love the genra or not. Besides last gen consoles (and PCs), what console has more RPGs then the 360 at the moment?
BTW I just played Eternal Sonata...my first JRPG, thought it was decent enough and will probably give LO a try. Still debating on BD and looking at Dark Messiah as well.
So one of the hottest RPGs of this year is a port from a PC game of last year (did it come out last year or two years ago). Although I do intend to look at this game and hope its good, I doubt its the "hottest" this year.

Whats funny, when I first started playing Mass Effect I thought it was good but would not be my GOTY, bioshock or COD4 would be. But sometime in my 2nd or 3rd playthrough I changed my mind and even in my 4th playthrough when I got 1000 achievment points, I still wasnt sick of the game. So yes, now I can easily see it as GOTY, graphic hicups and all.

However people make some good points. We/I know for sure she was very uninformed about what she talked about on FOX so there is no actual reason to assume she has any more knowledge on what she would be talking about in this book. Full nudity and graphic sex? WTF? I need to play the game again because I obviously missed something on my first 4 playthroughs. I have seen more graphic nudity (and far more graphic conversation on sex) on Friends. At least in this game you try to establish some type of relationship before 'jumping in bed', though I dont recall any sort of actual graphic sex involved in that. Fable was quite good but did just miss being great. I think the vision was too much for that time in video game history. I am expecting they can get closer to what they want this time and I am very much looking forward to it and many many many other games this year. Its looking like it may almost be as good a year this year as it was last year. Great time to be a gamer.
I am not sure how you can give a reveiw of a game when you havent completed the game. Some games get better as they go, some get worse. A good or bad ending can make the difference between a great game, good game, Meh game or bad game.
On the other hand, if you werent leveling AND were playing this as a Halo run and gun then I guess the gameplay would seem quite broken and I have stopped playing games when I felt the gameplay was broken (mostly in my PC days).

I was wondering when Halo3 would start winning some GOTY. While I did really like the game, to me it is not GOTY.
I liked it, but I always felt it was missing something. I cant put my finger on what, maybe it was just too linear but it just felt like they missed on that one. I hope they correct whatever that "something" is for Jade Empire II.

This is a great game so far. Sure the graphics arent the greatest but the style and ideas are fantastic. Also, the story and the dreams are interesting (dare I say emotional) and the sound is excellent.
