Just give me my ability to play my PS1 Classics and I'll be happy. Seriously, just picked up FFIX and FFVII on sale the other day, and that's a ton of gameplay potential.
That was quite the well-crafted advertisement for that product. I won't be buying it simply because what could have been an interesting article was just a waste of time.
I think Miz just got the three count on me after I laughed so hard I passed out.
Despite the fact that I think it'll (thankfully) get a lot more advertising than Shadows of the Damned, I'm thinking Lollipop Chainsaw isn't going to do very well, which is sad because I'm really looking forward to it.
People are dicks online? I have never encountered such villainy.
Let people say their stupid crap and then get ostracized for the idiots they are, and look even better by taking the high road away from them. That's the way to beat the trolls.
I really enjoy GOG; no DRM, easy to download, and some really great games = a service I dig on.
If they do go toe-to-toe with Steam, I'll have a harder decision on which service to purchase my PC games through (though I'll almost always opt for a physical copy anyway).
Every year I hope there will be a wrestling title that lives up to No Mercy... and every year I am disappointed. I still enjoy the new titles, but none of them has yet to surpass NM.
Also, why no Fire Pro Wrestling games? They had a harsh learning curve, but they were really fun and amazing in customizability.
I disagree with his contention that this could put a pall on GameStop; from the sounds of things, they're still a much stronger force in the US game market than GAME was in the UK. Not to mention their stock price is solid, they're doing well financially... The author made some decent points, but just because one specialty store goes under doesn't mean the entire industry is on the brink.
I'm still enjoying mine, although I'm starting to get a bit impatient waiting for the PS1 Classics to be playable on the Vita. I have a few on the PSP and there are some more I'd like to add to it.
Yes, I see the irony of using a new system to play old games... though frankly I've always done it with my handhelds (GBA to play GBC games, DS to play GBA, etc) until they really hit their prime with titles.
It'd be even better if they put a good game into it.
I loved the the Fight Club ending.
Anyone who files a claim that actually gets investigated should have to pay out of pocket for the tax money wasted in this ridiculous action.
I'm going to use the forthcoming flames to power a steam turbine to play some games.
Fee-based game + Origin = will not buy.
Spot on, badjournalism. If not for the games that require it, no one would use Origin. Frankly I'm less likely to buy an EA game for my pc lately because Origin is terrible.
I understand them wanting a piece of the tasty pie Steam cooked, but they need to cook up something good if I'm going to voluntarily use it. As it stands they're shoving crap down my throat.
I put down $100 toward it, and I'm looking forward to a great game... and some pretty excellent extras to boot.
I never played as FemShep so I didn't see that until now, but I swear Liara's chest got way bigger between ME2 and ME3.
There are ways of delivering a message. You can write a letter, post a lengthy treatise on the internet, sit at a panel and discuss the pros and cons and solutions to an issue, or you can crap on someone's doorstep, literally or figuratively. This guy just left a steaming verbal dook on a lot of doorsteps.
In the next game, Pikachu must deal with the pains of having a friend addicted to rock candy, and face the difficult choice of having an abortion or keeping the litter of Pichus.
Uh, Wild Arms only had 1 disc...
