Yeah, you can delete whatever you want because you own the site and whatnot. But don't expect to be free of judgment from others around you.
I ordered my Student edition and got my key and download link. Win7 Pro baby! Always.
That's what I was thinking. When it comes to key titles on consoles, their fan base is very vocal as much as we are. Whether or not they walk their talk like PC gamers do is something I don't know yet.
I wouldn't exactly go that far Panda.
From what I'm understanding, Voxels literally represents the x,y,z axis in full volumetric space. However the drawback was storage space because something as simple as a single 1024 texture can take up to 4GB of RAM. They solved this by introducing "voxel octee", which by the artist can mesh and simplify incoming blocks on the 2D plane by distance and overall allow full control over the pixels drawn, which means that stuff like aliasing is a thing of the past with voxels.
I recommend you do pick up games like Dirt 2 or NFS: Shift. It may not carry the full weight of simulation, but you learn basic concepts that go a long way when you do play GT5 eventually.
Stuff like knowing how to turn-inward to prevent skidding and maximizing your acceleration along turns. And also stuff like knowing how to use the E-brake efficiently. Hell I'd even recommend Grid or Forza to get you started. In games like Grid, you learn the key principles of oversteering and ...
I'll put it bluntly. Forza 3 and GT5 are games all racing fans should play. Forza 3 provides a more casual way of engaging players in sim racing that's friendly to casuals and hardcore to the greasemonkey. GT5 outright is trying to simulate the Pro-racing life style. Have you ever tried to play an entire 24 Le Mans event in GT4? It's pretty hard.
@pippoppow
If it means that stupid-ass fanboys spitshine and misrepresent GT5 for a game that's suppose to display PS3's p...
Can someone PLEASE TELL ME why graphics matter more in racing sim games? Last time I checked, the gameplay came before the graphics, especially when it comes to racing sims. I'd rather PD get Damage modeling accurate before they cram in an extra 200 polygons.
I bet most of you here haven't even sat and drove in an Audi R8 before. And the state of affairs here makes me second guess whether N4G really loves racing sims for the genre and not for the pretty colors.

I was talking about DX11-based games.
If you're a gamer then upgrading to Win7 from XP is a no-brainer.
Are we all agreed then that "milking" is a good thing as long as each and every game is good and every game proceeding it has innovation and reeks of quality?
I never thought about Halo when I made that post. I was thinking about Splinter Cell. Yeah, each game in that franchise is beyond a "Trilogy" but damn is each game fun to play and definitely offer more than brand-name.
As long as the games continue to be good, Uncharted can be the next Final...
You know, it helps to play the game above "normal" ;)
Is Uncharted considered "milked" at this point? Or are we using double-standards again?
Someone send this man to Fox to beat the **** out of them.
I just hope that a developer out there can combine the quick-reflexes of arcade FPSs with the strategic and mil-sim gameplay of well...tactical FPS. A game like that would be the game to earn its kudos in the name of tactical FPS.
OFP:DR is a good game and I don't mind the delays in switching weapons and loading weapons. But I do mind the 'aiming' isn't crisp as say CoD4 (I play PC by the way) and that it takes a while to come to grips with the Quick-Action Ring (I think that's w...
Not buying it. **** you Activision.
Why so serious N4G?
an almost 50% increase for Crysis with 2x 8800GT? That's.....weird. I'm not doubting what you wrote, but I'm just curious about how a simple OS change (beyond DX API) can produce drastic results.
I'd rather PC gaming die than have developers think they can push garbage on us and expect us to buy it.
The exact reason why Metacritic allowed users to rate games before they are released.
