I saw this coming ever since I heard of the problem. Activision makes more off retail PC sales because they pay no royalties to anyone. However when bought through steam, they have to pay some to Valve. IT's just business.
Dirty business anyways. Stockholders are happy, but as usual: it usually screws the gamers out of a good experience.
Yeah, they don't owe us anything. Whatever, I'll just get another game. But you should check my last post as I cannot be more specific at what this is about now.
Also, pessimism doesn't win wars, or get girls to take off their clothes.
Really, Dan. You missed the point entirely.
This has nothing to do with MW2 anymore. This has everything to do with IW+Activision giving the fans that made them what they are the middle-finger. I'm a reasonable guy: had they only made their game and not said anything else then I could easily walk away and find another game. What makes this personal is how IW goes on record and treats the PC Community like retards that don't know how to handle a server list.
I also n...
WTF Brucie?
I'm "really" surprised that Youtube went and did that. I guess the Youtube's Draconian methods really do contain some laughs for us yet.
Suck it. IW.
EDIT: Oh S***! I've been playing CoD4 PC for some time, and I never knew about X4!

FYI, guys the dude and others really did make the ...
I might have to agree....a small bit.
I can hop into a random CoD game and do fine for some part, not fall too far behind. But I hopped onto BF2142 after 2 years of not playing and I got slaughtered so badly....
This doesn't affect me much because I already had Steam, but I can see why people would be concerned because they want the freedom of choice and the feeling that big brother isn't always there: and that's exactly what Steam is at times. That and I agree with D2L's president about buying something at Wal-Mart, but having to go to another store like Target to find support.
Of course: D2L would be pissed, heh heh but their feelings aren't unfounded. I really wish I didn't need Steam...
It's a pointless level. After you finish the campaign, you'll realize why when on your 2nd Playthrough, you press Start > Skip Mission.
One thing I always love about PC Gaming is that there's no restrictions. So long as Hardware makers keep doing what they're doing. A group of us will rise up and make our own games. Gaming will never truly die as long as PCs are in existence.
No need for certification, no need for red-tape. Just make the games and push em on the net. Places like Newgrounds.com are why PC Gaming will never truly die.
What Winter said.
Wow, is it snowing?
If you got any sympathy for the PC Gamers' plight, buy used.
Wait, this story isn't right.

I hear ya on that Zinc.
Gaming is a business and I have little problem with developers exercising that ability to develop for profit. What problem I do have is basically what you said about the freedom of creativity and art always takes a backseat to the profit margin.
One more reason I love PC Gaming. The community is not dictated by arbitrary goals, so we have every reason to innovate, create, and share with each other: if only for the betterment of gamers around. ...
Have you tried putting a gun to their head? It's very persuasive, personal experience.
This basically proves what idiot pirates are if they USED FACEBOOK.
I said this time and time again. Social apps like Facebook, Twitter, and MySpace reveal far too much info when used recklessly. 2 things the pirate could've done to avoid this.
1. A Buyer on Craigslist who offers more than asking price is clearly a flag to be wary about.
2. Using Facebook or any social app in conjunction with known Craigslist aliases is asking to get caught.

I have to disagree with you Leon. Dedicated Servers are a Core-Element of any PC Game. Without it, PC Games don't last long. We're fans of CoD4 and some people like me have been playing CoD since 2003. I speak for myself as I'm a huge fan of CoD and am saddened that MW2 is in this sad state. I'm angered because Activision raised the price by $10 with a smug look, and I'm pissed that IW doesn't look like they're as innocent as we want them to be due to that Best Buy Live Chat.
I a...
LOL! I wish you would murder IW instead. =D Or at least take one of them and beat them savagely.
Hey, I know Leon better than that. He's no sheep, but he is entitled to his opinion. Give the man some decent respect you would give to your neighbors.
And yeah, IW proved clearly in the Best Buy Live Chat that they are lying scumbags. They can talk all they want: they already earned the wrath of PC Gamers. At this point, pulling the "Piracy" card is a scapegoat to 'guise the true goal of 100% control over their game and shafting the PC Community because they intend to ...
You might be right there. I never thought of it that way.
