Looks like this game became a "used" copy.

Sorry Ubi, but I like my manuals. It's why I go through the effort to buy retail. Otherwise, I can settle for a nice $40 used copy from GameFly that comes with the CD-Sleeve.

If they're going to intentionally sell a shorter game then well...I can't say much. People want to feel like they're getting their money's worth. But people overall want to feel like they're getting a good deal as selling a content-rich, feature-rich game at an attractive price will get anyone thinking about your product.

Imagine a game like Fallout 3, Uncharted 2, Red Dead Redemption or Halo 3 for a minute. We all know how feature-rich and content rich th...

To be honest, the BO menu DOES look good and is pretty nifty. BUT "BUT" I hate waiting about 10 seconds every damn time I want to get back to the main menu because the game wants to load an in-game level. It's not so bad at first, but imagine seeing that epileptic flashy screen over-and-over again.

I think the point that was truly trying to be made is that it wasn't the sole agenda of BO to slander Cuba in any way. It's that the times lent itself to creative licenses: that's it. How can Cuba still be butthurt after seeing the fact JFK, McNamara, Castro, and Nixon are fighting off zombies? No love?

I think graphics are important. We've hit a gaming rut where games are starting to play the game with minor tweaks: aka FPS games, RPG games, Racing games. The graphics and overall presentation of the game is what sets each other apart. If Uncharted didn't look as good as it did, powered by engaging presentation of its characters: you'd mistake Uncharted for Tomb Raider.

In this case, it really is okay to judge a book by its cover, assuming all the books you'...

You must be new to N4G. A rule of N4G.

It may be better looking, but the buggy CPU requirements doesn't help the argument.

I'm sure many others do care. The moment I saw the $60 price tag for Black Ops, I knew it wasn't a Day 1. Nothing on PC should ever cost $60. The $10 on Consoles go toward royalties to console makers, there's no such thing as royalties on PC Games: therefore the $10 increase is unjustified.

I doubt anything will happen. CryEngine 3 is designed for MPF usage. Whatever the PS3-360 Version turns up to be, no doubt the PC Version will only look marginally better. I'm not expecting full-blown day-light differences on the PC Version.

I'll be happy if I'm wrong though. Although the GTX 580 doesn't make me happy that I have the GTX 460.

I dunno what to think. How cool the commercial was? Or the "target audience" being an ice-cream man, a basketball player, a businessman, a nurse, an office lady. I dunno if that's a cool idea or a really obvious way of saying "we don't care for originality anymore".

I want to see what life would be like for video games then.

To be honest, I don't know if it's going to go as far as the PEGI system or the CERO system where they outright ban violence. I won't deny the possibility. Where I live, the ESRB means crap because retailers just don't care. I'll bet upstanding towns/cities care about that stuff and that's why they're upstanding. Then you have where I live and it's very bad. The feeling here that violent video games could encourage youth aggression. I personally don't belie...

The whole idea behind "attacking out 1st Amendment rights" is political BS conjured up by the EMA and ESA. The facts are this.

-The bill will make it an offense to sell a violent game to minors.

THAT's IT. There's no censorship here, no government oversight on commerce or anything this article is trying to imply. Good God, everyone. For one in your life, read the WHOLE AB1179 bill and READ exactly what Senator Leeland Yee wrote this bill. Do...

That doesn't disprove the fact that the ESRB is funded by the game industry, and therefore, is favorable to rate games in order to sell games. Does it happen all the time? No. Is there room for corruption? Absolutely.

The only thing you proved is that parents don't have time to rate games, and therefore lets someone else do it. This bill aims to take the pressure off game-retailers and lets the police get involved. Same principle: you're letting someone else take...

Yeah, Advanced DOF really kills the performance. I don't really see the IQ benefits of DOF as it looks more artificial than realistic.

That's a nice gain...I got a GTX 460 768 right now...I think it might be worth it to get a 6870. Physx is a huge drain on resources so I always have it turned off: not a huge loss to me. But the real factor is "which one folds better?"
