Fuck, meant to hit the "agree" button.
I think his point was that a game like CS has earned its place for a reason and the reason people hate on CS are probably the same people that hate on WoW players or Halo players or any player that's good because of the time and dedication devoted to that game, whereas games like CoD are fly-by games where even a 5 y/o can pick pick up a controller and be efficient within a few days whereas CS requires you visit forums, practice, and overall, be a good teammate because you don't respa...
Actually, yes there is.

lol, "... Burn him on a blu-ray".
That was pretty funny =D
mehbeh. Kinectimals and Skittles the Tiger might come to a TV near you.
I was far too naive to even understand half of what's going on in Parasite Eve 1 & 2. All I remember is "MONSTER, SCARY, RUN A-WAAAYY~!!! FIND AMMO- BAM- BAM". In my world back then, there was no sexual arousal, just pissed-pants and nightmares.
lol.
Kinect, it ONLY DOES EVERYTHING.
Quick! KILL IT WITH FIRE!

I agree, Treyarch has been very quiet since their last update on their forums. I personally still have problems on the PC-side of trying to stop the hiccups completely, even though my rig is more than capable of running Blops. I wasn't so much entertaining Treyarch as I was disparaging Bungie. I don't have as much history with Treyarch so I can't say much other than that they've shown they're still actively looking at the game. I've noticed most of the ...
I disagree entirely. Having been on Bungie.net since 2004 (check my b.net profile) Bungie spends more time extorting their fanbase, prodding their ideas and selling it back to them for a price and overall selling overpriced DLC. Instead of addressing the concerns of the community and keeping it all transparent (like Treyarch and Valve): they instead poke fun at people who have legitimate concern. The lousy moderation on B.net favors unruly children and is basically one big virtual daycare. <...
I agree, I actually like how Crysis 2 is shaping up. The graphics aren't that amazing (since we have Crysis 1) but the gameplay and fluidity seems pretty bad ass.
I like the music.
*head bump*
That's reading too far into the subject. If I wanted to ditch my mouse, I can easily sell it to a friend and Logitech has no say in the matter. If I want to ditch my copy of Crysis: I can give it to someone else and let him/her have my key and EA has no say in the matter. The problem here is that publishers DO want a say in the matter and I'm happy to tell them to "fuck off".
I'm not saying that green-lights cheaters to hack the game for their own enjoym...
lol, I killed everyone off in my "renegade" playthrough. I'm solo-ing this mission everyone! Shepard to the rescue!
kinda makes you wonder if games are worth paying if you don't own the product you paid for. I can safely hold my Logitech G7 wireless mouse and use it anyway I want without recourse. I can't say the same for this copy of Crysis that I paid for just as much. Software industry is a bunch of crybabies when their wallets are threatened.
I could definitely tell which was which. The rest of you need to get out and see the real world more often. The trick is in the small details you notice when you actually visit those places. Things such as concave doors don't translate well in a 3D environment. Or lack of shadows where they should be.
PD did a good job replicating the buildings. I only noticed small discrepancies, but it still sells the image that you're looking at the Colosseum in Rome.

Have a bubble for your efforts. It's appreciated.
Holy shit. I could not watch that video without straight up laughing. That's some crazy stuff. The scary part is that he and the others look completely serious.
It's definite a "taste" then for I like my games to be longer, but at the same time, the gameplay has to be enjoyable so that it complements the time otherwise the playtime will feel like a chore rather than entertainment. What I'm seeing by reading between the lines is that the author was burnt playing story-based games where gameplay lends itself to story, rather than the other way around. IMO, this-gen we've seen far too many games with pointless stories that really d...
