I want a fleshed out co-op game with well...co-op! Army of Two was a step in the right direction (too short) and here's hoping Resistance 2 will deliver and droves. The thought of having 7 other players playing together is tantalizing.
Jailbait forewarned.
But developers can decrease the rate of pirated games. Very simple actually.
Release quality games. (Self-explanatory)
Keep the sticker price low ($30 maybe?)
Give the end-user complete control over their purchases. (No CD-Check)
It's not that hard to follow these simple guidelines.
Guy is 95% spot on. While I never worked at Gamestop, I've worked retail for a good portion of my life and I can agree with everything he said. Although the Gamestop business practices aren't an isolated incident (it happens with other places like Frys), their self-serving policies have convinced to never shop there and to convince fellow gamers never to shop there either.
Can you answer why managers allow employees to rent out new games, and sell them as new? FFS when I bought Rainbow Six Vegas, I saw fingerprints and scratch marks on it. When my friend bought Zelda: Four Swords "new", there was already a save file.
Why the hell does that matter to you? Are you the "originality" police?
Just wait, it'll come soon enough. That's how all small sites start out. They operate on their own budget, then as they get bigger, they're going to need deeper pockets. It's a domino effect really. What's depressing is that some sites that fall prey to the ad-machine compromises their own integrity as a site for the sake of revenue.
Whether you guys will or not is questionable, but we'll see because my crystal ball can't foresee your future, only predict it.
That'll never happen. The only way Apple will give the man compensation is through a legal case.
That's what they all say...Then they get too deep, and the flamebait article begin for the sake of ad-revenue.
a free coupon for a 1 hour session w/ a hooker bundled with every 360 purchase.
I'd have to disagree. The reason people buy Wiis is because it's "cheap entertainment". The 360 has the power and support to back up its system. Once the casual market catches on, they'll move up to the 360. The Motion-Control fad is dying and people are starting to realize that the Wii has crap games and crap support, compared to the 360. Casual gamers may be casual by definition, but they're as content as picking up the latest tech just as much as anyone else.
Stuff like this irritates me because this industry can stand to support a corp. with crap trade-ins, unprofessional employees and self-serving policies that screws the customer everytime.
*sad face*
I'm not even laughing. Story and User reported.
TOMBA!!! I missed you~!
Vista is a blatant rip off of Leopard because Microsoft needed something to combat it. The screens really speak for itself. Go back to the drawing board Microsoft.
WinXP SP3 w/ WindowBlinds > Vista.
This pisses me the **** off. Someone wanna give me the address to that location? I want to personally beat the 2 kids to an inch of their life. People that torture animals are the absolute ****ing worst.
Yay I agree!....oh wait.
I wish I could find a better word for you, but it's hard.
http://www.gamasutra.com/ph... - You don't mess with gamasutra.
I noticed that N4G is made up of a majority of PS3 Fanboys, but you have to see the VGChartz is probably as credible as a hooker telling you she "probably doesn't have STDs". - She knows because she has the numbers, but she is "guessing" ...
Boy would that make games like R2 or GeoW2 that much more enjoyable. I don't mind the small screens. I played at Halo LAN parties with screens as small as 13" and I dealt the pain just fine.
*sigh*, damn this gen where online takes priority over hardware flexibility....Hell I wouldn't mind if the graphics got dumbed down for the sake of 4-player split-screen co-op because this gen is severely lacking it.
