I suppose huh? I remember during the early levels of R:FoM, I wasn't really impressed by York or the Conversion Centers, but the moment I hit the snow, I just sat there appreciating the detail of the snow. OH and the last level inside that dome thing was friggin awesome! I do hope Insomniac doesn't do that again. I want to appreciate everything about R2, not just specific parts. Bubbles for your opinion.
Because I really don't care about comparing the best of 2 games on the grounds of its marketing. A great game doesn't need marketing, the game markets itself.
When will gamers learn to be gamers instead of business men? What do I care if R2 has better marketing? That won't stop me from enjoying GeoW2 to the fullest because it lost a damn round in the rounds of nothingness gibberish. If you want to compare games right, compare the story, the gameplay, the presentation, the sound, ...
I'm not very impressed by how R2 looks right now. Textures still look bland, and there's not enough shadow detail to really flesh out the forest areas. Am I looking at the same picture as you guys?
I see that more open-expansive areas like San Francisco are something to look at, but the streets in front of Hale looks like grey-garbage. I watched some gameplay footage of the Leviathan, but was only impressed by the creature itself: Just about everything else looked "flat"...
heh...yup
I'd rather spend 20 min going to Target and buying my HD Movies, than sit at home waiting for at least 3 hours for my movie to finish downloading.
The difference between an analyst and a gamer is that an analyst gets paid for thinking.
I'm not a whore, but I love the fact that even after the game's end; there's still some incentive to play, like secondary objectives. I'll try to get most of the smaller points, but big ones like getting every single item (LO Treasure Trove) is out of the question for me. I only enjoy getting achievements and trophies up to a certain point. If I see myself working on a game instead of playing it, I stop immediately.
I killed the Dreamcast
I want developers to support Trophies and Custom Soundtracks just because. I have no interest in trophy-grinding, but I also hate how developers can pass off features like trophies as "cost-cutting" measures. I won't endorse their laziness with my money. I pay for premium quality games with all the features to boot. You think with Sony giving choice as to add trophies would encourage developers' to strive to make their own, but it's doing the exact opposite, we see this alot with mu...
Someone get me my sizzors!
As a former Wii owner, you're not missing out on much.
Google Chrome must fail for the sake of competition.
I should've downloaded the game while I still had the chance.
And they say that PS3 isn't the most powerful console.....yet.
I couldn't agree more. The only game I can consider that can truly say its presentation-levels are above the competition is Killzone 2. I thought Uncharted looked good too, but I can't forget that most of it is all in "small" areas. If Killzone 2 proves itself, it's going to be a good day for me and my 360 friends.
My PC will eat FIFA 09 for breakfast, then one hour later, it would get hungry again for more.
The right to free speech is for everyone(in America) unless it abridges the safety and rights of others. As of now, it's not ok to ban this game because it's simply an expression of speech, just like a white power rally. Now when we start seeing kids imitating this game and killing muslims for reals, then we can safely say, this game has abused its freedom of speech and rightfully ban it.
Being prejudice and inciting 9/11 is only making things worse for both sides.
By that time, I'll have already own a SSD, which runs circles around any mechanical drive.
I just traded my Wii for a 360 just yesterday. cause GeoW2 will ROCK!!!!
BENDER!!!!!!
Oh Sinnerman............I disagree! *runs away*
