I know what you mean, I never liked the mechanic of constantly aiming down your sights. I'm all for cutting down on run-and-gun Halo mechanics, but this is ridiculous. I prefer the old mix of CoD2 where hip-shots shots were still accurate to a certain degree, but aiming down the sights made accuracy 100% complete. With CoD4, you practically have to aim down the sights to even have a chance of hitting anyone.
I know I'll get flamed for down-talking realism, but I just don't like h...
**** you, Ganon, no seriously. I can't begin to count the amount of hours I lost as a kid as I spent on this monstrosity.
Judging from the guy's hands in the pictures, I know for a fact that my thumbs will smash at least 2 keys with me even trying. I wish the buttons would be more bigger for people like me with big hands.
Have faith in Bungie man. They put out great work, even if its rehashed sometimes. Halo 3 didn't live up to my expectations of leaps and bounds like how Halo 2 from Halo, however Halo 3 was still a solid game and I play it even to this day.
(it makes me feel better when I can't aim well in CoD4)
Maybe the Halo franchise might need a bit of fresh air to gain back the momentum that made Halo such a huge hit back last-gen.
I'm sure Rare's days will be numbered depending on the success of Banjo and Kazooie (I think that's how you spell it....)
You can just say "slow". I mean, I'm not a grammar Nazi, but have some sense of context man. I'd only expect that kind of words in college essays.
I wish Payton the best of success on the Halo team cause I know he'll contribute meaningful work towards the next Halo.
@Fruit Loops- Didn't you realize already? N4G is pretty much N4PSG (News for Playstation Gamers), if there's anything remotely positive about 360, it gets trashed and flame wars begin. The people that hit the disagree all know who they are.
PS3 people get to wear blue-lights while 360 people get neon-lights! (would've preferred green-ish more)
If this affects the entire single player, I'd have to give EA some props. You'd have to be foolish to argue over this, but taking the high-road; this sounds actually.....cool~! Can't wait to sport my neon-lights!
Man I feel bad for the bot-maker though. 6 million? Geez.
(....according to Microsoft. But we all know how they are when it comes to the word "exclusive")
Either way, I'll be playing GeoW2 in the Fall, and when the PC version does get released, I'll be fragging it up KB/M style. -I always preferred KB/M when it comes to GeoW.
C'mon everybody, do the Bender now!
Uh! Uh AH!
(sorry, everytime I think of Fenix, I think of Bender, oh how I would wish we could have a face-change from Fenix to Bender. That would totally make my day)
No way I think it's GOTY 2008, it's gotta be MGS4!
It's better that way.
Immature much? It's fine to disagree with someone, but you look like a disgruntled child that has his feelings hurt so you have to take jabs at something else to make yourself feel better.
I agree with you that Valve has been kind of slacking off lately, but history is on their side. Practically every game Valve has made a name for itself, maybe not sales wise, but definitely earning big-ups in the gaming world. Name a game that Valve made that hasn't been a success.
Ya'll just got "troll'ed"
Stuff like this is best ignored.
Yah, like seriously. Everyone here is starting to act like we NEED the PS4. Damn you guys and your insatiable drive to kill the Xbox. If the PS4 ever gets released in 2011, I won't be buying a PS4 until somewhere around 2014. Guaranteed.
The Console War business is starting to turn into PCs. Might as well start building PCs now because that's what the console makers are pretty much doing now in terms of principle.
If PS4 gets released and PS3 in the end only gets a ...
Remember the 360?
Just because developers are familiarized is no reason to fall back on currently existing tech. Games can only make leaps if the hardware does so as well, not small revisions here and there.
360 was heralded for having currently existing tech because developers could get used to it easier, and it lowered development costs in the R&D department, however! Have you ever seen a game as good-looking as Killzone 2 on the 360 yet?
I only wa...
I agree that N4G is infested with alot of PS3 fans, but you're not helping the situation either.
I say that game journalists these days go where the money is. If being anti-PS3 brings more traffic, then by all means, that's a good thing. On the flip-side if being pro-360 means that it generates good reputation, then by all means, do it. Betas are just an extension of the arm called "advertising" because money talks and major game outlets listen very well. I never paid to get into a Beta (Ebay) and I won't start now. If they want me to jump skies and bring down heaven just for a...
