It would/will still sell systems to 360 only owners who are aware in the gaming community. And people who see the commercials that eventually come out for it.

Game bundles should have variety, not two games of the same genre, that's not very appealing even if they are both good games.

I like the reasons that make a 40Hr RPG turn into a 200+Hr RPG. THIS is what Crystal Chronicles was lacking but ALL the "numbered titles" have. If they do treat this game like those in that respect than that would be AWESOME.
For RPGs, the storyline isn't what draws me in (expect the upcoming FFXIV, the official site makes the story sound epic). What draws me in is:
The PC version was canceled or never existed. It's supposedly ONLY coming to the 360, a "system seller" in the truest since of the term too.
The 360 is only $200, so why buy/upgrade a gaming rig?

I'm very pessimistic about such a claim as the numbered FFs are epic and the Gamecubes "Crytal Chronicles" was and ok game but NOTHING like the numbered titles depth and exploration wise.
I think he's saying that M$ ruined Resident evil 5 because by going multi-platform (as if it never were) they change the type of game it was to cater to the larger audience of the 360. He's blaming M$ for Resident evil 5s absence of atmosphere in comparison to the older games.

I feel bad for those who are still waiting on the PS3. It's been out for years now, surely you could have saved birthday or christmas money to buy one or asked parents for it as a gift for said holidays. Sold things you don't use anymore or got some sort of job.

Multi-platform games DO exist. The 360 got plenty of good games, as did the PS3 and there are more to be released for both consoles this year.
To say M$ had no games this year is foolish sense, by owning a 360, you could still buy and play Res5, Prototype, wolverine, Ghostbusters, Street Fighter 4 and so on. A TON of games released this year. Now add THOSE games to the exclusives that have come out (and are coming out, since the articles chooses to use those too), xbla titles, DL...
But Killzone2 doesn't deserve a 9/10, they did that as damage control. It was a hyped exclusive so they used it as a poster boy to claim "See this? We aren't biased..."
Killzone 2 has mixed reviews because it's a hate it or love it type of game. It's not really a 9/10 at all., at least not when they reviewed it. There's been map packs and patches to the game since then that might warrant that score but at the time they reviewed it that was a lie. And as far as averaging...
I think Sony simply needs to advertise all the PS3s features, not just "It plays games AAAAND blu-ray movies"
Beyond a price drop/instead of one if they can't, sony should do a PS3 bundle with *drum roll* 3, that's right 3! good games. No one puts 3 good games into a bundle, and doing so would pick sales up so fast since it's one of those thing where you can BLATANTLY see the value.
People buy things when the blatantly see value. They see games cost about $60...
But I do agree that notification sounds would be nice. I just don't have faith in such things. The PS3s OS is not... power efficient? New things like that would only further slow down its applications unless they finally hire a team who really really knows how to build efficient, glitch free software.
I really like the XMB, it's simple to understand and everything is easy to find, it doesn't bore me and it even looks nice with all its theme choices, but it is lacking in technica...

I played the fvcking beta guy, the game is GORGEOUS.
The cut scenes are rendered with the games engine but are enhanced because of the extra power not being used towards game play and physics during those scenes. This doesn't make the game itself any less pretty. We've ALL seen the in-game footage and it's great so why would the cut scenes looking better be a bad thing?

I believe the PS3 is definitely worth it's price but after stepping back into my 15year old selfs shoes I understand now why so many complain. The PS2 was $300 when I got mine and it was from money I had to earn myself. In contrast, the PS3 releasing at $600 for the 15 year old me would have been devastating. I would have tried to save and maybe got the system when it hit the $400 mark but I might have just given up before that happened and gotten a 360.

I don't get this, why do 360 fanboys on this site often call people who favor the PS3 "sony droids" when the 360 clearly looks like it was made of droid armor?
