Hopefully they both launch with note worth software titles because if they don't it would be hard to sell the products. Wii is only in danger of itself. Thee wii thing that could threaten the Wii is if Wii games or its lineup of games became less appealing to its fan base. In other words, if they tried to switch to mostly hardcore games when the majority of their fan base are casual gamers.
I don't have it but apparently the game is a little "too easy". According to a PSN friend anyways. He set it as his comment so I guess he's a little disappointed with the game.
I remember the high scores but what I DON'T remember is anyone thinking it could be a GOTY contender to begin with. There are a LOT of good looking games coming out this year so if Bayonetta DID win GOTY it would mean all the other were very much overhyped, under delivered or were disappointments in some way shape or form and that would be a VERY BAD THING.
I think he means that no other, unannounced, Zelda title will release before this one. Meaning no DS titles will come before this one's out.
I really like the hiphopgamers enthusiasm when he interviews developers and industry insiders. He's not afraid to ask anything and at the same time makes the whole interview easy going for whoever he's talking to. He's like a no pressure journalist and his delivery is entertaining in itself too.
And he's "infamous" for all those attention grabbing titles so even though many don't like and even hate it (LOL) I don't think he'll be changing his format anytime soon.
Boarderlands or Darksiders would be great choices.
So you're telling me that the maps that were exclusive to ODST are now being made into DLC for a small fee and Halo 3 owners who: had purchased all the map packs before ODST came out,
and then bought ODST at $60 anyway for ITS exclusive maps, firefight mode and (short) single player campaign are now okay with this information?
Wow, just...wow o.0
I recently found out the PS3 game "3D Dot Heroes Game" will launch at $40 and before that I found a deal (...
Expect an announcement from sony TODAY clearing up this obvious misinterpretation. De facto *along side the Dual Shock 3*. It will NOT and can NOT replace the DS controller. The PS3 would have had to launch with the controller (wii) for that to be possible.
I wonder if they mean to claim that all future games will be forced to at least "support" the device.
Is absolutely better for having the multi-player addition. The single player game sacrificed nothing and the multi-player is fun, well-done and ADDICTIVE.
I'm glad GOW3 stuck to it's roots though and have chosen not to superfluously create a multi-player aspect just to say they have it.
I believe all shooters, fighting games, and racing games should have multi-player modes though. Genres like rpg and platformer are fine without them.
though for me it was Onimusha 3. I was never able to beat the final boss. I don't remember why (i may have been short on health restoring items), just that I couldn't and never beat it and eventually moved my attention onto some other game and never bought Onimusha 4 because of it.
Another hard fight was Sephiroth in the first Kingdom Hearts game but I was determined and eventually won that fight (after maybe 30 attempts lol). Freya in Star Ocean 3 was up there too but eventually...
it be nice to see these ones in a higher resolution.
Both Kojima and Capcom were already developing for the PS3 so what developer support was "gained", a better word would be "sustained".
And the fact that they mention Kojima as a studio who using the PS3 as the lead platform is even more ridiculous seeing as they've already made a PS3 exclusive and so are more use to the hardware anyway. It seemed obvious that their multiplatform games would use the PS3 as the lead console for both Metal Gear Rising AND Castlev...
Having the Prologue probably helped FUND that 60 million in development cost that is making GT5 what is it is going to be upon release rather than missing some of the content or features that would've had to be cut because of their cost.
I'm patient, I skipped the prologue in anticipation for the real thing and I kinda feel like I should be paying more now that I/we know all the things that'll be in that game compared to all other racers out there sim, arcade or whatever.
I thought it had a possibility coming out last year but now the release date is all the way in May of this year. Kinda ridiculous but at least it got out the way of a lot of the other highly anticipated titles coming at the beginning of this year (quarter 1)
But that's likely to be because White Knight Chronicles runs in 1080p, or did you forget that little fact?
It could have totally been an MMORPG and it's structured as such (fighting mechanics) but they chose to make its online elements additional content rather than the core of the game. It'll be interesting to see how well it does here in the states compared to how well it sold in japan. I got my copy pre-ordered and it'll be my first rpg on the PS3 since Folklore so im excited
Each picture is desktop or PS3 background worthy, It's hard to imagine this is a real, controllable game and it'll be out pretty soon.
The Hiphopgamer really knows how to get a crowd to click on his article, he's been doing it all last year and continues the trend this one.
Title aside, and in a more understandable writing/speaking style
All hiphopgamer was saying is that Heavy Rain will receive more attention than it would have thanks to the delay of Splinter Cell Conviction. And that Splinter Cell getting that extra amount of polish may be good for the 360 platform as a whole. Showing what it's capable o...
So very very true. Eat it Halo, your time will come but right now up until its release GOW3 will be the most anticipated title. I can't friggin wait.
They gave a very understandable explanation. Expect to see a lot more quotes of the "only possible on the PS3" nature after 3D gets released.
I really gotta go to an IMAX and check this stuff out cuz I am just not interested in 3D. Like many others weren't for the past 10 years or so and that leads me to believe this shutter glasses or whatever 3D must be a huge improvement over the days of olde 3D.
